Earthquakes and Volcanoes in Prophecy

Why are earthquakes and volcanic activity on the rise? The Bible speaks of “earthquakes in various places” at the end of the age.  Has that time arrived?

Throughout history, God has used earthquakes in many ways for various reasons. The Bible shows that God used earthquakes in history to show His presence, His deliverance, His wrath and His power. God will also use earthquakes yet in the future to announce Christ’s Return, accompany prophetic events, and reshape the earth’s surface.

In Matthew 24, Christ told His disciples of the signs that would precede His Second Coming. In verse 7, He stated, “and there shall be…earthquakes, in diverse places.”

This meant earthquakes would take place in various places—scattered throughout the world—and would increase in frequency as the time of His Return drew near Mark 13:8 and Luke 21:11.

Had earthquakes been as prolific throughout history as they are today, then they would not indicate that the end of the age was near. They are much more common now than at any other time in history.

For 6,000 years, since the Garden of Eden, a rebellious humanity has rejected the Creator’s instructions. He has patiently allowed this for His own great purpose.

However, this is all about to change.

God is about to involve Himself in the affairs of this world in a way that He has never done before. Earthquakes will play a significant role in what is about to occur.

Wolves will not spare the flock

The Apostle Paul said that wolves in sheep's clothing are "grievous wolves." The grievous wolf will always leave a trail of grief, sorrow, and heartache wherever it goes. Paul's description of the wolf "not sparing the flock" is most fitting. Turmoil, strife, and trouble is the wolf's game and he gets increasingly more skilled at causing problems as time goes by. Wolves thrive on troubles and problems; wolves fight over food, they fight their mates, they fight authority. A church wolf is never satisfied in a church that promotes peace and unity. His very nature calls for continual stormy conditions, and he answers the call with pleasure. Church wolves in sheep’s clothing love church business meetings.

Understanding the nature, spirit, and activity of the wolf

All wolves want to be leaders

Wolves have a social behavior based upon a hierarchical structure. There is an "alpha male" and an "alpha female." The "alpha male" is the leader of the pack. All other male wolves submit to him. There is also an "alpha female" who is the leader of the females in the pack. The "omega male" and "omega female" are the lowest ranking wolves. Each member of a pack knows its position in relationship to the other members, but all wolves want to be leaders and detest submitting to authority. Wolves that are driven from the pack or choose to leave on their own because they refuse to submit to authority and follow the "alpha" leadership are called lone wolves. However, since like-kind attracts like-kind, a lone wolf will soon find other lone wolves and together they will form a new pack and make another wolf den.

Jesus said: “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep . . . I know my sheep and my sheep know me” (John 10:11, 14).

Sheep are mentioned more frequently than any other animal in the Bible.

We have a direct connection here with Judas and the “serpent” of Genesis 3:14-15! We can see the connection between Judas and the “serpent” if we read John 13:18:

I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the Scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his HEEL against me.

The scripture spoken of here, which was fulfilled in Judas, was Genesis 3:15!!!!!! Does that sound “spiritual”?????? Judas was a Canaanite “Jew-devil”, a descendant of Cain fathered by Satan! There is a problem here, though, because it says that “he” (Judas)  “hath lifted up his heel against me” whereas Genesis 3:15 says that “thou (the seed of the serpent) shalt bruise his (Yahshua’s) heel.” Is it the “heel” of Judas or Yahshua that is affected? I am quite certain that John 13:18 is referring to Genesis 3:15, as it is indicating that it is a fulfillment of Scripture. Tell me, What other Scripture could it be? — there isn’t any other. There is another Scripture, Psalm 41:9, that reads similarly to John 13:18, but John 13:18 is not a fulfillment of Psalm 41:9 — as a matter of fact, Psalm 41:9 is not a prophecy about anything. The prophecy then can only be Genesis 3:15! — and Genesis 3:15 is definitely a prophecy.

CHRISTIANS TOLD NOW IS THE TIME TO STAND UP FOR ISRAEL

A Night To Honor Israel

This was a news article that was sent to me that was in the Tulsa, Oklahoma newspaper.  It told of a church that is located across from Oral Roberts University.  The date of the newspaper was Saturday, April 21, 2007. 

There was two large pictures; one of the congregation and the other of Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty embracing Itai Lavi, Israeli emissary to Tulsa.  Shouldn't Christians rather obey their GOD who told them who our enemies were...don't embrace them; tell the people who their father is! (John 8:44). What a disgrace the churches united with synagogues and probably the Freemasonic lodges in this event!

Traffic was backed up two miles to the north Monday night as more than 7,000 people made their way to "A Night to Honor Israel," at Victory Christian Center, 7700 S. Lewis Ave.

Victory's new 4,400-seat worship center was full, and everyone else watched by closed circuit large screen television in three overflow rooms.
