Truth

I am going to do some name changing in this message and at the end I will explain why.

Scripture Reading:  John 18:37-38

37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Yehoshua answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

38 Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

I was interested in this topic of truth and came to church.  And the messenger gave this following statement :

Trouble and suffering often trickles down to the grassroots level — the people. And, it is often left to the people to remedy such situations. But how can the people act unless they truly know what is happening in their nation? This is the main reason for the church, to keep their people informed with the truth. “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32) Further, the church is not just the source of theological truth, but of all truth. “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth.” (John 16:13) The word truth appears 119 times in the New Testament alone. We instinctively know the importance of truth. We also have the most powerful weapon in the world — prayer. But if we do not know the truth, then how can we direct our prayers and exploits to the source? We must know the truth and we must know our enemy. Duty is ours — the results are up to God.

It is truly amazing how a thought crosses the minds of people not in the same location at the same time.

There are 224 verses in Scripture with the mention of truth. Jim had 119 in the New Testament. Search these verses out and you will find that you can replace the word truth with Yahweh, the words of Yahweh and the works of Yahweh.

I was searching for articles on what man says about truth and came across this one.

What is truth?

In the court of law before a person testifies they place their hand into the air and swear to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help me God. And it is assumed that fallen man by saying that oath will tell the truth when they stand before the judge. But day in and day out judges throughout the world hear testimony from plaintiffs and defendants that contradicts one another.

(Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could know the whole truth?) Comments in parenthesis in the written text are the Holy Spirit. I parenthesize like this throughout this message to let you know that the thoughts that pop up into my head are either Scriptural or non Scriptural. I am learning to discern the spirits. Now back to the message.

A boy of the age of twelve was an important witness in a lawsuit. One lawyer, who was cross-examining him, said, "Your father has been telling you how to testify, hasn’t he?" "Yes," said the boy. "Now just tell us how your father told you to testify," the lawyer remarked. "Well," replied the boy, "Father told me the lawyers would try to tangle me in my testimony; but if I would just be careful and tell the truth, I could tell the same thing every time." (Lawyers’ language takes on different meanings than what we were accustomed to or taught. From whom does our language come from and from whom is it corrupted?)  Parenthesis the Holy Spirit.

In this passage today, Pilate asked the question that has the power to not only change the world but change your life.  He asked, “What is truth?”

No doubt, truth is under attack today. In the religious world there are many people who are saying that no one is wrong in what they believe and everyone is right as long as they are sincere. The trouble with such thinking is that it would mean that the Bible and Koran would both have to be truth, along with the book of Mormon and any other religious book you throw into the mix, and yet they contradict one another.

In a magazine from a university in Ohio, a professor is quoted as saying, “We want to prepare students on how to think, not tell them what to think.”On the surface that may sound good, but the philosophy behind it is: “Truth is something you discover in your own mind. There are no facts; no absolute truths; no right or wrong.  It is up to you to come up with your own truth.

That's why it is so important for us today to answer the question “What is truth?”   The answer to this question is one of eternal importance. If the Bible is truth then there is life after the grave. If the Bible is true, then there is only one way to get to heaven. If the Bible is true, then those who reject Yehoshua the Christ will spend eternity regretting their decision. (This pertains only to those who qualify to regret.) Parenthesis the Holy Spirit.

When we look at the reading,Yehoshua was arrested and taken to Pilate. He (Yehoshua) was going through his trials in a rush because the religious leaders are done with him and want him put to death. The Jews had no legal rights to kill a person, because they were under Roman law and Rome had taken over the execution of criminals.

John’s purpose in writing was to show us the deity of Yehoshua; that he was God in flesh.  Throughout this trial, Yehoshua was innocent of all charges.   Even when Pilate asked the Jews what accusation they had against Christ, they just responded and said, “If this man were not doing evil, we would not have delivered him over to you.”

We know that Yahweh was the one in charge of the events that took place this night, because it was Yahweh's will to bring salvation to His people. And His death would have to be through crucifixion in order to fulfill the Old Testament prophets and Psalms.

The gospel of Matthew tells us that the night before this trial that Pilates wife had a dream: When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. Matthew 27:19

We will focus on the question that Pilate asks in verse 38, “What is truth?”Pilate at this point was seeking the truth as any good judge would. Yet he failed to acknowledge that he had truth standing in front of him.

The Bible proclaims that there is only one truth in the world. That truth is Yehoshua the Christ, revealed to us in scripture

John 14:6 Yehoshua saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

Notice that these two verses do not say that Jesus points the way to truth or that the Bible references truth, but simply says thy word is truth.   Yehoshua said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. Yet just because Yehoshua claimed to be truth and the Bible claims to be true, the claim alone does not make them truth.

In order for something to be true it must conform to reality and be confirmed by logical evidence.  The opposite of truth is not only a lie, but error. Truth is not error. It’s not deception.  It is not self contradictory and it’s not based on emotions.

Something is not true because you believe it is or it feels right.  Something is not true because you were taught it in school or even in college.  Something is not true if it is self contradictory: i.e. you can't say I like pie and I hate pie at the same time.  Yet there are many today who try to appease all religions by saying the Bible is true and the Koran is true. They both can’t be true because they contradict one another.

Yehoshua told us not to just believe Him just because of what He claimed about Himself.  Instead He said in John 14:11: Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. In other words, confirm what He has said by looking at the evidence He has given ... His works.

Yehoshua turned the water into wine, fed five thousand with one boy’s lunch, healed the lepers, raised the widow’s son back to life, and raised Lazarus from the dead.  And if all that wasn't enough, He was born where the prophets said He would be, died the death like they prophesied He would, was raised back to life on the first day of the week, walked for 40 days on the earth after His resurrection and was seen by over 500 eyewitnesses at one time.

The works of Christ confirm His testimony that He is truth. Truth is not Mohammad, not Buddha, not the Dali lama, not Joseph Smith, but only Yehoshua the Christ.

Then look at the Bible. It is scientifically accurate before its time, and it’s historically accurate.  Peter said in 2 Peter 1:21: “For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. “

Paul wrote to Timothy in 2 Timothy 3:16: All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

That explains why before the invention of the telescope:

  • the Bible said there were too many stars to number in Genesis 22:17 and Jeremiah 33:22,
  • and that every star is unique in 1 Corinthians 15:41
  • Job said the earth is floating in space Job 26:7.
  • Solomon explained the water cycle in Ecclesiastes 1:7 and
  • Isaiah defined the shape of the earth as a circle in Isaiah 40:22

It’s also why when the bible mentions cities such as Jericho and Sodom and Gomorrah that they are found by archaeologists exactly as the Bible mentioned, and why the written records of kings line up exactly with the way they are recorded in scripture; men such as Josiah, Hezekiah, Uriah, Nebuchadnezzar, and even Elijah's worse enemy, Jezebel, and the list goes on and on.

So the overwhelming evidence supports what Yehoshua said, “I am truth, thy word is truth.” Because his statements are not in error; they are not deceptive and they are not self contradictory.  They are based on evidence and not emotion, which means that his statements correspond with reality. This cannot be said of other religious leaders or other religious books.

Now let’s quickly break down this passage today and see the truth of Yahweh's word.

First, it is true that many religious people do not know Yehoshua.  It was the religious leaders who brought Yehoshua to Pilate. Remember, He was first taken to the house of Annas, and then Caiaphas, both who were high priests. They were over the House of Yahweh but they wanted to kill the Son of Yahweh and failed to acknowledge Him as the messiah that the Old testament prophets wrote about.

What defines a religious person? A religious person is one who follows traditions and rules above what thus says Yahweh the Lord. As a matter of fact they are so stuck on following rules that it hinders them from having a relationship with Yahweh the Lord:

Matthew 7:22-23

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle. (The trouble comes when the tradition gets in the way.The trouble also comes when men create their own traditions and say that it is serving the Lord.) Parenthesis the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 15:8-9

8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with [their] lips; but their heart is far from me.

9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching [for] doctrines the commandments of men.

Notice that it takes a relationship from the heart to know Yehoshua. It’s the same in human relationships.  We have a husband and wife in a relationship not based on rules or traditions, but based on love. And sometimes those traditions may change but the relationship does not change.

Again, look at what is going to happen in the last day:

Matthew 7:22-23

22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

These are religious people standing before Yahweh God claiming to have done great work in the name of the Lord, but he says to them I never knew you.   It was hard for the people to accept Yehoshuas' teachings about Yahweh God and how Yahweh God desires a relationship with us, because they had grown so accustomed to living by strict rules that it was natural to them. It’s the same way today. It is hard for us to understand how a good person who attends church, maybe even works in the church, and gives to the poor and helps the orphans might not be saved. It all boils down to the fact that there is only one way to heaven and that is through the blood of Yehoshua the Christ.

Yehoshua even said that someone who tries to get into heaven any other way is a thief and a robber.  Before the Apostle Paul came to Christ, he was a very religious person, yet he was as lost as the worse sinner. But listen to what he said about his religious life:

Philippians 3:8-9

8 Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Yehoshua my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.

9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from Yahweh God that depends on faith—

Paul had to lose his religion before he could come to know Christ.

It is true that many religious people do not know Yehoshua. Even in the book of Revelation, Yehoshua our Lord calls the church of Ephesus to repent because they had left their first love. They had what appeared to be good works but they had lost the relationship, the reason that they were doing it all to begin with.

That's why if we want revival to happen, it’s going to begin at the house of Yahweh God and flow to the rest of the world, but only when Yahweh God’s people come to accept the truth that there are a lot of religious folk that aren't saved.

(Genesis 3: 22-24

22 And Yahweh the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

23 Therefore Yahweh the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubs, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.

Isn't it man's pride that keeps him away from the tree of life? Is it any wonder why so many people read the instruction book of Life and do not understand it? Also take notice as to how many sects of so-called Christian churches are in existence today. Were the founders of these sects strictly for their glory?) Parenthesis the Holy Spirit

Nothing new under the sun

Billy Graham is quoted as saying the greatest mission field in America is found in the church pews. (It’s a shame he did not heed his own remarks; typical example of a man's pride, a different god, and a wolf in sheep's clothing. America would not be in the chaos it is in if Billy Graham was truly a man of Godly righteousness.) Parenthesis Holy Spirit.

If you find yourself growing cold and just going through the motions of religion, it might just be that you need to return to the relationship like the church in Ephesus was called to do.

Second, it is true that everything happened as Yehoshua said it would.

Yehoshua didn't just claim to be truth but his statement conformed to reality. In other words, the things that Yehoshua said would happen came to past just like he said they would.

Remember as the disciples were observing the Passover with Yehoshua, He told Peter that he would deny Him three times before sunrise and it came to pass just as Jesus said.  Not only that, but he told his disciples the method in which He would be put to death:

John 12:32-33

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all [men] unto me.

33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.

Now all of us know that some day we will face death if Yahweh the Lord tarries, but not one of us here could predict how we will die. I have known people who have fought illnesses that I would have bet the bank they would have died from and then they died from something else.

There was a man in the first church I pastored who had a lot of health problems, and his condition continued to worsen over the years I knew him. He had to carry an oxygen tank and struggled to walk the aisle of the church. One day he asked the church to pray for his healing and it wasn't two months after that, he was mowing his yard and his mower turned over on him and he died as a result of that accident. I could have never predicted that in a million years.

But Yehoshua told his disciples that in his death he would be lifted up, and his body was lifted up on a cruel cross where he hung between heaven and earth as he died for the sins of His people. Not only did Yehoshua predict the way He would die, but He also predicted His resurrection.

John 2:19-21

21 Yehoshua answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

20 Then said the Jews, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou rear it up in three days?

21 But he spake of the temple of his body.

C.S. Lewis said that for Yehoshua to make these types of comments about himself, He was either Lord, liar or lunatic...  or we might say today he was either mad, bad or God; in other words for someone to say how he was going to die and then rise again. If He knew it wasn't true than he was a liar.    If he just thought that it was true but it didn’t happen, then He was crazy.  But if He predicted His death and resurrection and then it happened just like He said, He must have been God.

See, the things that Yehoshua said were not the types of things that people say about themselves every day.  And that's the whole message that John is trying to reach us with from the Gospel of John:  that Yehoshua is God in Flesh; at least believe that based on his works sake.

Third, it is true that the world loves darkness.

Pilate thought for sure that he found a way to let Yehoshua go. Remember Pilate could not find any guilt in Jesus. There was a tradition that Rome had in releasing one prisoner a year. Pilate wanted to release Yehoshua and just forget the matter all together. But listen to what the mob said:

John 18:39-40

39 But ye have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the Passover: will ye therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews

40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

John says that Barabbas was a robber, but that wasn't the only crime that he was held in prison for: Mark 15:7 And among the rebels in prison, who had committed murder in the insurrection, there was a man called Barabbas.

Under the Old Testament law, Barabbas was suffering justly for his crime, and according to the Word of Yahweh God should have received a death sentence for being a murderer.  But the people wanted Barabbas to be set free if it meant that Pilate would put Yehoshua to death.  Remember that nothing takes Yahweh God the Father by surprise. Heaven was not in a panic by what was taking place on the earth during this trial. This was all the plan of Yahweh God: that Yehoshua the sinless one would take the place of the worst sinner and die in his place; that both the jews and gentiles would be responsible for His death indicating that it was the sins of all men that Yehoshua died for.

Barabbas is symbolic of every one of us who have broken the laws of Yahweh God; those of us born into sin and destined for hell.  If this were a movie, we would be on the edge of our seats as Pilate offered Barabbas to the crowd.  Because if they chose Yehoshua to be set free, all of scripture would be in error and the whole ministry of Yehoshua would have been a fraud.  As C.S. Lewis said Yehoshua would have been a liar.  Even though the events that day baffled Pilate, God was not surprised because it was all the predestined plan for Yehoshua the sinless one to die for the sins of man.

It’s shocking that the crowd chose to let a murderer go free and put to death the giver of life; the one who raised the dead and who had done nothing but good. (It is not shocking today for we see this going on today, do we not?) Parenthesis the Holy Spirit.

Yet every single day people choose the way of darkness over the way of light. When people are faced with a decision to accept Yehoshua or to continue living in sin, many choose the pleasures of sin over the freedom that Christ offers.

John 3:19-21

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in Yehoshua God.

Fourth, it is true that we are controlled by something.

Every single one of us here today is controlled by something. The crowd of Yehoshua this day that wanted Barabbas to be released was controlled by their own sinful desires and they chose the path of darkness over the path of light.

Pilate was controlled by the crowd. He wanted to keep his job (the followers of Yehoshua were controlled also, but by whom, God or man? What if all the followers of Yehoshua had stepped up and said "If you find fault in this man then torture us also for we follow Him. We do not want to live in a world where truth is not wanted") parenthesis not sure

Sometimes you hear people say I want to live life my way, just leave me alone. But the truth is you are either a follower of Satan, darkness, or a follower of light, Christ.

Yehoshua said in John 8:32: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. You see by this verse that truth is something you can know. It’s not something you think or something you feel, but it’s something you know.  And the truth that you are able to know has the power to set you free.

If you want to be free from your sin, from darkness;  free from the clutches of Satan, it is necessary to know the Truth and obey the Truth.  Know that man in his original state is fallen by nature.  Know that Yahweh God loves us and because of that great love He sent his son, Yehoshua into the world to save us from our sin.  Know that the Holy Spirit came over the virgin Mary and she conceived and had a son who was not mere man but was God in flesh.  Know that Yehoshua lived and died and was resurrected for our salvation.  Know that today man can be free from all sin, guilt and shame by believing on Yehoshua the Christ and all that he has done for you (End of article)

So what is Truth?  It is Yehoshua.  It is the works of Yehoshua.  It is the words of Yehoshua.

Words ...  how and by whom were words established? A child while in the womb gets a sense and feel of words they hear.  Adam being made with the intellect to pass down the words or language from Yahweh God to us. Have we ever taken a moment to ponder on the language and languages used today and in the past? The fact that we can communicate with others is a truth established by The Truth. If we were evolved would we be able to communicate, or would we just point and make an unh sound?

We are a people satisfied with half truths, and that statement is being generous. It takes those who seek more truth to get more truth.

I was at a meeting and the people who were running for office were using god in their campaign speeches. I could see that the audience was satisfied with that. My thought was “who is their god?”  Is their god the same as the people listening to them? Is their god a racist like mine is? Everyone seems to have a truth, but it is their truth and shared by few.

As the article states, we are to KNOW the Truth, not think about it. Did the kings of Judah and Israel think they were doing good in the sight of Yahweh the Lord? For instance, Manasseh son of Hezekiah:  did he provoke Yahweh the Lord purposely or did he really think he was doing right? At 12 yrs old, where were the prophets and High priest, his father and mother in his instructions and his upbringing? Did he ignore them? Did his pride due to who he was just wipe out all righteous upbringing? How vulnerable are we?  Correct us Yahweh if we stray.

Imagine being raised in a nation, a family, an environment where the whole truth was sought, obeyed, and passed on diligently. Back in the late 50's and early 60's we used to get milk delivered to our house.  On the bottle caps of the milk would be Presidents of the U.S. and we would have to learn them. Then there were the states with their capitols and we would have to learn them. Today without ever having to use that information I still remember, for the most part, the presidents and the capitols of the states. I can only imagine what life would be like had we read and studied and applied the words of our Creator at that age. Instead, that teaching unfortunately was left to those who happened to be wolves in sheep's clothing.

Now the explanation of the name changing

I found an article in “The Study of Languages of Christendom”. The purest languages will be found among the purest people. Looking at the racial elements of Israel nations such as Britain and America, English has become a weak and inferior language compared to what it used to be.

Speech is an extension of thoughts and thinking processes--an extension of the brain. When a person has been raised from infancy with a weak and inferior language, the development of the brain is stifled to some degree. Foundational thought patterns are developed at a very early age which is a critical period; that is, once that age is passed, the likelihood of that person developing higher thought processes grows slimmer each year. This is why children learn languages so easily. If a mind has been trained with inferior-level thought processes, it rarely can rise above this level of thinking at a later date, since the critical stage for learning has passed. With this in mind miscegenation not only destroys the purity of the blood but also destroys the capabilities of pure blooded children from learning to their potential of receiving the truth.

I also found this in “Which Bible”:

In our feeble human state, it is often hard to let go of our preconceived ideas; and at times we cannot even realize that we are clinging to ideas that are invalid, tradition, false doctrine, humanism and paganism. Whether one is truly of God or not will determine whether he jettisons that which is false when he finds that which is true; or whether he stupidly, stubbornly, and carnally clings to the error.

Each time that the word LORD or GOD appears in the King James Version and in other English translations the translators have not translated the Hebrew word and they have not transliterated it as they should have, as they have done with most names/proper nouns. The Hebrew word is #3068 Yahweh and stems from its root word # 1961 haw-yah which means "to exist." Since words can have varying meanings, often in Scripture, when a name is used, the Scriptures inform us the exact meaning of the word. Such is the case with the naming of Cain (Genesis 4-1) Israel (32-28), Gad (30-11) etc.  And God Himself informs us of the meaning of His name,"I Am that I Am (Exodus 3-14)

Lord or God is neither a translation, nor a transliteration; it is a substitute or an abortive attempt at properly rendering the word, the name, either by translation or by transliteration.

In 5000 plus instances, the translators inserted , inappropriately, the definite article "the" before Yahweh, which they rendered as "LORD" or "GOD". Since they did not add "the" before any other proper name, whether Satan, Abraham, or Moses, then clearly it is improper with Yahweh's Name.   There are no other Yahweh's and there are other lords. So therefore the definite article "the" which appears over 5000 times, which does not appear in the text, is a mistranslation each and every time and the mistranslation of Yahweh as "Lord" or "God" is a mistranslation each and every time.

When entering into a contract or a covenant, is it not be important to know the names of the parties in the contract? Thus the Covenant Name Yahweh and the Covenant-bearing Name of the Redeemer Yehoshua are indeed important.

Christ said, whatever you ask the Father in My Name, He will give you; and whatsoever you ask Me in My Name I will do it. If we would go to a universalist church and ask the congregation what the name of God is, do you think they would know?

Whatever reason the translators did not put in the name of the Father and Son would be a guess. It could be that the Holy Spirit did not want all His people to know, for they may just take the name in vain like they do with Jesus. It could be the translators were afraid to.

In any event, we at this fellowship share the same Truth and seek to know Our Lord , Our Creator, and Owner and Controller of the universe and thus it is an honor to call on the Name of Yahweh and Yehoshua for guidance. We also seek Their other Name and that is Truth.

Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

In Luke chapter 8, could seed used in the upcoming verses be changed to truth?

5 A sower went out to sow his seed:(truth) and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

11 Now the parable is this: The seed (truth) is the word of God.

12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

16 No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

18Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

We can apply truth in place of seed ONLY if Our Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the Sower.  Otherwise as verse 18 says Take heed how you hear and from whom you hear.

There is one more meaning to Truth and that is it is Hate Speech.
