SOME THINGS TO THINK ABOUT
Copied from the sermon notes of Pastor Don Elmore

Scripture Readng: Leviticus 23:21:
21) “And ye shall proclaim on the selfsame day, that it may be an holy convocation unto you: ye shall do no servile work therein: it shall be a statute for ever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.”
With regret, the audio file was unusuable.
The LGBTQ rainbow is not a true rainbow—it is a deception--it only has six colors, not seven. The true rainbow that occurs in nature has seven colors; Roy G. Biv:
The LGBTQ flag (which is made of the rainbow) is missing color #6—Indigo. Thank goodness! The travelling exhibit (known famously for being at Burning Man, a famous LGBTQ event) was brought to Cincinnati thanks to the generosity of Procter & Gamble [a freemasonic company, based in Cincinnati, Ohio] and individuals from the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati and the Jewish Community Relations Council. [Three unholy seed organizations who are located in Cincinnati, Ohio, were the sponsors of this anti-God work. What good thing do you think that these three groups would sponsor?]
It is 75 feet long, 30 feet high and four feet deep, covered in colorful LED lights. The arch rises in Smale Riverfront Park, and lit up at night, can't be missed. The 15,000-pound steel structure is clad with wood panels, painted with the iconic rainbow colors and is emblazoned with over 25,000 individually addressable LED lights--that’s nearly 1 mile of total LEDs.
“Rainbows evoke love, magic, hope, exclusivity and wonder. We’re excited to share it as part of BLINK,” organizers said.
[The organizers were P & G (a Jewish based freemasonic organization, and the two Jewish based groups.]
“Rainbow Bridge” was created by San Francisco-based [where else?] artists Josh Zubkoff and Srikanth Guittikonda. Why doesn’t anyone in the public arena, and in the churches, quote the following verse:
Leviticus 20:13: “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”
This introductory verse (Leviticus 23:21) was talking about the holy day of Pentecost. The original Pentecost (meaning 50 days) was 50 days after Israel left Egypt. This day was a yearly sabbath. But doesn’t this teach something that most sabbath-keepers have never understood or read? There is a 48-hour sabbath every year!
Look at what the The Dake Reference Bible says about what this verse teaches us:
“Pentecost was an extra sabbath added to the regular one. This made a 48-hour sabbath at which time the weekly sabbath was changed to a day later for the remainder of the year, and until the next Pentecost” [emphasis mine].
In addition to this statement, the Dake Bible adds on Page 111, the following:
“The 7th-day sabbaths of Israel were changing sabbaths, being observed on two different days each year because of an additional sabbath being observed at Pentecost. If we suppose, for instance, that the 15th of Abib (when Israel left Egypt) which was on the Sabbath, was Saturday, then the 7th-day sabbath would fall on Saturday for 7 weeks, or until 49 days had run their course. The 50th day, which would be Sunday, would be Pentecost.
The next 7th-day sabbath after Pentecost would fall on Sunday, and so it would be until Pentecost of the following year which would change the 7th-day sabbath again. This time it would fall on Monday until the next Pentecost which would be 50 days after the first 15 days of Abib, as stated, or on the 65th day of that particular new year. Thus, there was no such thing as the sabbath always being on Saturday throughout the year, or perpetually.”
This is significant. For this means that if Saturday were the weekly sabbath this year, after Pentecost it would change to Sunday for an entire year on our calendar that we now use. After the next Pentecost, next year, it would occur on Monday. After the next Pentecost, it would occur on Tuesday. Each year the weekly sabbath would be on a different day. It is because we are using the wrong calendar! This calendar is based on the Mass of Christ and Easter. It is a Roman Catholic calendar. It is not the calendar that Israelites used when they had a nation in the middle east.
There is a small booklet written by the one of the Ewing brothers who came very close to figuring out Israel’s calendar. He might even have figured it out totally correct. I don’t even remember how I found out about his calendar, but it was certainly an eye-opener for me. I later found out that Pastor Mark Downey knew personally one of the Ewing brothers, the one who studied intently and arrived at Israel’s calendar. They enjoyed several years of fellowship together. Mr. Ewing’s book on Israel’s calendar is in Mark’s library at church. I would suggest that you read it. Israel’s calendar is something that I never really thought about until I read his book.
When a person asked me last year at the April Conference, if I kept the weekly Sabbath Day (which he believed was Saturday), I asked him if he kept the 48-hour sabbath each year. He looked very puzzled and, after a few seconds, replied that he never heard of one. I told him that it occurred every year at Pentecost. If you kept every Saturday, how could you keep the seventh-day sabbath? After giving me a very strange look, he then left me alone.
But there were other questions that I was ready to ask him. For example, what time of the day did they start the weekly sabbath? Was it from midnight to midnight? If he answered that that was the time that they kept, then I would ask him what verse of Scripture teaches this? Does the Scripture teach that the weekly sabbath begins at 12:01 AM on Saturday till midnight Saturday night or does it teach that it began at sunset and ended the next sunset?
Leviticus 23:32: “It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.”
--------------------Biblical Calendar 24-hour day----------------------
--------------------Catholic Calendar 24-hour day-------------------
It was from sunset to sunset—not midnight to midnight. When did it change? Each day is off for about six hours. When did we change from using the Biblical calendar to the Julian (named after Julius Caesar) and the present Gregorian calendar (named after pope Gregory XIII) which is based on the moons (months)? Could these changes be part of this prophecy?
23) “Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces.
24) And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.
25) And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and to think to change times and laws;…”
What kingdom was the fourth one in this verse in the book of Daniel? The following is the first four kingdoms of Daniel:
Daniel prophesied that it would be this fourth kingdom that would “change times and laws.” Rome and its religion, Roman Catholicism, has already changed God’s times and laws. Constantine did so in 325 A.D. at the Council of Nicaea.
They changed the new year from the spring to the winter (January 1st).
They changed God’s feast days to man’s instituted holidays of Christ’s Mass, Easter and New Year’s.
They changed the beginning of each 24-hour day from sunset to midnight.
They changed the rotating day of the weekly sabbath to Sunday.
So, we celebrate New Year’s Day on January 1st each year, instead of in the springtime. We have lost God’s feasts days and substituted man-made holidays. Days begin at midnight instead of sunset. And we now use the same day sabbath, Sunday for many believers, Saturdays for others. But they are both wrong. If we use the Catholic calendar, the day would rotate if we keep the weekly biblical sabbath. A fixed-sabbath day on the Gregorian calendar would never fit on the Israelite calendar. Never.
Have you ever been confused by the times, like the time of Jesus’ crucifixion that are mentioned in the Bible? For example,
45) “Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.
46) And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama-sabach-tha-ni? That is to say, My God, My God, why has thou forsaken me?
What time is the sixth hour? It’s not six hours from midnight, that is, six o’clock in the morning; but six hours after sunrise, i.e., Noon.
What time is the ninth hour? It’s not nine hours from midnight, that is, nine o’clock in the morning; but nine hours after sunrise, i.e., 3 PM.
The Bible, of course, uses Israel’s calendar. And then there is this verse which has confused many commentators and Bible students:
“In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.”
Think about this sentence for a second. As the sabbath was ending, it began to dawn toward the next day. What time did the sabbath-day end? The two women were going to see the sepulcher, what time did this happen? They went and were witnesses of an earthquake, had a visit with an angel of God, and an announcement that the Savior had already been resurrected.
This verse says that the sabbath was ending and it began to dawn to the first day of the week.
I will quote the Dake Reference Bible again: “Sometime between sunset Saturday and dawn [sunrise] Sunday, this took place. The resurrection had already happened by the time the women arrived at the tomb before daylight. It is certain that it took place the first day of the week after the regular weekly sabbath.”
The Bible teaches that each day starts after the sun sets. That is not from midnight till midnight. So, the weekly sabbath should start at sunset on our Friday night and end Saturday at sunset. Saturday, from sunset till midnight, is not part of the sabbath day, in the Roman Catholic calendar.
--------------------Biblical Calendar 24-hour day----------------------
--------------------Catholic Calendar 24-hour day-------------------
So, what time did the two Marys go to Jesus’ sepulcher? What calendar were they using? Was it the Biblical calendar or the Roman Catholic calendar that came into widespread use in 325 A.D.? It couldn’t be the Roman Catholic calendar as it wasn’t used widespread until 300 years later.
At what time in the Biblical calendar did the sabbath day, or any day, end? At even, when the sun set. Was that on Saturday or Sunday in Matthew 28:1?
It was on Saturday night on the Roman Catholic calendar, unless the two women were traveling at sunrise. But the scripture says that the sabbath was ending. The sabbath ends at sunset. It was Saturday night on Israel’s biblical calendar, too. But that means…that the resurrection had happened before Sunday!
That means that Jesus was three days and three nights in the tomb…from Wednesday night to Saturday night. That means that He wasn’t crucified on Good Friday and resurrected on Easter Sunday! The Roman Catholics and most of the Protestants and non-denominational churches believe that the reason that they met on Sunday is because this the day that He was resurrected. But He wasn’t!
But there is more…
Over six million Britons went to bed on Monday, September 2, 1752 and woke up on Saturday, September 14, 1752. Suppose some of the people were keeping the Saturday or Sunday sabbath. How could they keep six days between the two sabbaths? It would have been Monday, the 2nd, the next day would be Saturday, the 14th.
Suppose a Briton traveled from England to Spain. Suppose he was a Saturday sabbath-keeper. He would leave on Monday and get there either Monday, the same day, or Saturday, the next day. How would he keep six days between sabbaths?
Suppose a Spaniard did the same thing. If he traveled to England on a Saturday, the next day would be Monday, a week and a half previous. This is greatly confusing.
But that is not all. Russia didn’t change their calendar until 1918. They had to skip 13 days; Greece didn’t change their calendar till 1923; they too had to skip 13 days in their calendar. How confusing was that?!
But there is more. If the person who questioned me about keeping the Saturday sabbath still didn’t agree, my next question would have been, “Do you keep the yearly sabbath?”
“But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.”
Then, just like what happened on Pentecost, on the 50th year, it became a sabbath too. It was called the Jubilee year. Every 50 years, there was 7 sabbatical years and 1 jubilee sabbath; for a total of 8 yearly sabbaths, with the 49th and 50th years a double sabbath. Each sabbath, the land reverted to the original family if they had sold it.
How can we even keep these special days and years with our anti-God calendar? What calendar do we have anyway? The calendar was changed from Israel’s calendar to the Roman Catholic calendar. In Israel’s calendar, they had the shifting of the weekly sabbath. The days of Israel’s calendar were not named but numbered. The months were given a different name and there were a different number of them. There was not an added day every four years, but added weeks and month.
Israel, at one time, had their own calendar. It has been lost and forgotten. The Bible tells us part of the calendar that they once used but does not give us the complete calendar. There must be a lot of dots connected. Ever since they forgot to serve God’s law, they were taken into captivity and they lost their way. Without their own calendar, how could they keep the days they were supposed to keep? They now have a different New Year’s, a different starting time for the 24-hour day, a different way of naming the days, a different way of naming the months, a different leap day, a different way of providing for a sabbath that they could be kept every seven days, a calendar based upon the unbiblical Easter Sunday, etc.
You can’t just take one verse and ignore the rest. You can’t do that with any scriptural view—you must have at least two or three scripture references. It has been estimated that there are 27,000 mistakes in translation in the King James Version of the Bible.
There are about how many mistakes in the KJV of the Bible? 27,000! What if the verse that you think are saying one thing is translated wrongly? What then?
WHO RECEIVES GOD’S BLESSING?
“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
This verse has a multitude of interpretations. Some of them are the opposite interpretation of others. Let us examine this verse more intently and see where that takes us.
Who is the “thee” in this verse? Does “thee” mean this?
3) “And I will bless them that bless the Jews, and curse him that curseth the Jews: and in the Jews shall all families of the earth [i.e. everyone else besides the Jews] be blessed.”
Well, this is what I received in an email from CUFI (Christians United For Israel), which is John Hagee’s organization. This is what they believe Genesis 12:3 should be interpreted:
“God promises to “bless those who bless [Israel].” You can take part in His promise by being a blessing to a lonely elderly Jewish person like Sibo [holocaust survivor] who has nowhere else to turn. Your gift will help provide food, medicine, and shelter to someone in desperate need. We cannot stand idly by as elderly Jews suffer through the last years of their lives. Join us in helping these precious souls with your best gift today.”
[I highlighted some of the words in this paragraph to emphasize how the writer is trying to gain the readers sympathy for the holocaust survivor. Why is she suffering and has nowhere else to turn—can’t the multi-billionaire Jewish individuals give her a few thousand dollars to help her survive, or must she lean on “Christians” who look to receive a blessing if they give her the money? How is helping this precious soul, who says that our Savior is now in hell, going to enable us to receive a blessing?].
“We believe we must answer our collective spiritual calling (Genesis 12:3) to bless Abraham’s descendants, the Jewish people, by giving generously. And in return, God promises His blessings.”
[One must know who Abraham’s descendants are. They are not just the Jewish people. The Arabs are part Abraham’s descendants, the Jews are too, but the Christians are the true covenant seed of Abraham. The Arabs are not part of the covenant people, the Jews didn’t become Jews until 100 years before the birth of our Savior and are not part of the covenant people, the Christians are part of the covenant people. They are the true descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.]
“Even more tragic in our mind is the fact that these entities who no longer support Israel [Jews] are ignoring or even denying the Bible’s clear teaching that those who bless Israel [Jews] will be blessed themselves (Genesis 12:3).”
[Abram was Jacob’s and Esau’s grandfather. This paragraph above is a lie. Jacob’s name was change to Israel, so let’s look at the last part of the sentence: “…the clear teaching that those who bless Israel [Jacob] will be blessed themselves (Genesis 12:3).”
Genesis 12:3 is not referring to Israel, it is referring to Abram.]
“You can obey God’s word today and take a step of faith to help His people in need before the High Holy Days begin. May He bless you in return according to His promise in Genesis 12:3.”
[This paragraph is also a lie. Genesis 12:3 refers to Abram and not to Israel.]
“As we turn towards the second half of this year, I pray that we increase our lifesaving aid to Jews around the world and continue bringing biblical prophecy to fruition. I ask that God help me serve His people with a loving heart, humble spirit, strong body, and wise mind. And I pray that God will bless our worthy partners just as He promised in Genesis 12:3, declaring, “I will bless those who bless you.” This is a holy partnership and I am so very grateful to be a part of it.
With blessings from the Holy Land,”
[Mr. Yael Eckstein is lying. Genesis 12:3 is not talking about helping the Jews who are God’s people, for they are not. 90% of Jews are Ashkenazi Jews, who are not even related to Abraham. Each year the Jews will run similar ads to fleece the average Christian out of as much of his money as they can.]
But is CUFI (Christians United for Israel) right or wrong on their interpretation? But, how could the word “thee” refer to anyone else but Abram? “Thee” is singular, not plural. It couldn’t mean Israel or Jews as they would be plural. But more importantly, there were no Israelites or Jews when this verse was said. Abram or Abraham was not an Israelite or a Jew. Abraham was the grandfather of the Israelites (Jacob) and the Jews (Esau).
So, my conclusion is that the Christian Zionists are wrong in their interpretation. Their deception goes back to the gospel of John and the discussion Jesus had with the Jews who claimed that they were descendants of Abraham. Why do you think our Savior would say to the Ashkenazi Jews of today?
Now, let’s look at what one of the Calvinists says about Genesis 12:3:
“And I will bless them that bless thee
Not the priests only that should bless his children, the children of Israel, as the Targum of Jonathan, but all men of all nations, and of every age, that speak well of him, commend him for his faith and holiness, and tread in his steps, these are blessed with faithful Abraham, (Galatians 3:7 Galatians 3:9).
And curse him that curseth thee;
There is a change of numbers, before the plural, here the singular, denoting, it may be, that many would bless him, and but few curse him, and that every individual person that did curse him should be cursed himself: the Targum of Jonathan wrongly restrains this to Balaam’s cursing Abraham’s children, and was cursed by God; Maimonides thinks, there is no doubt to be made of it, that the Zabaeans, the idolatrous people Abram was brought up with, when he contradicted them, loaded him with curses and reproaches; and, because he bore them all patiently for the glory of God, as became him, therefore these words are said; but they, without question, respect future as well as present times, and regard all such, in every age and of every nation, that disapproves of, or rejects and reproaches Abram’s God, his faith, his religion, and his people.
And in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed;
that is, in his seed, as in (Genesis 22:18) and which is interpreted of Christ, (Acts 3:25) (Galatians 3:8, Galatians 3:16) meaning not every individual of all the families or nations of the earth; but that as many as believe in Christ, of all nations, are blessed in him; and that whoever of them are blessed, they are blessed and only blessed in him, and that they are blessed for his sake with all spiritual blessings; see (Ephesians 1:3) such as redemption, justification, remission of sins, sanctification, adoption, and eternal life.”
Now, let us look at one of the Arminians:
“Commentary on Genesis 12:3
(Read Genesis 12:1-3)
God made choice of Abram, and singled him out from among his fellow-idolaters, that he might reserve a people for himself, among whom his true worship might be maintained till the coming of Christ. From henceforward Abram and his seed are almost the only subject of the history in the Bible. Abram was tried whether he loved God better than all, and whether he could willingly leave all to go with God. His kindred and his father's house were a constant temptation to him, he could not continue among them without danger of being infected by them. Those who leave their sins, and turn to God, will be unspeakable gainers by the change. The command God gave to Abram, is much the same with the gospel call, for natural affection must give way to Divine grace. Sin, and all the occasions of it, must be forsaken; particularly bad company. Here are many great and precious promises. All God’s precepts are attended with promises to the obedient.
1. I will make of thee a great nation. When God took Abram from his own people, he promised to make him the head of another people.
2. I will bless thee. Obedient believers shall be sure to inherit the blessing.
3. I will make thy name great. The name of obedient believers shall certainly be made great. 4. Thou shalt be a blessing. Good men are the blessings of their country.
5. I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee. God will take care that none are losers, by any service done for his people.
6. In thee shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Jesus Christ is the great blessing of the world, the greatest that ever the world possessed. All the true blessedness the world is now, or ever shall be possessed of, is owing to Abram and his posterity. Through them we have a Bible, a Saviour, and a gospel. They are the stock on which the Christian church is grafted.”
[Did you understand what the Calvinist and Arminian said about these verses? I don’t. It was very confusing. But they both admit the person who is blessed or cursed was Abram or Abraham. The families of the earth that are blessed or cursed are spiritual Israel.]
Genesis 12:3 New King James Version (NKJV):
3) “I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”
Now let us look at what covenant theology says about this verse:
3) “And I will bless them that bless thee [Abram], and curse him that curseth thee [Abram]: and in thee [Abram] shall all families of the earth [kindreds in the land] be blessed.”
“This book [Behold! The International Jew] has been written specifically to Christians who have been mis-led by their church leaders, into believing that the Jews of today are the Chosen People of the Old Testament and that they must be afforded only the most courteous treatment, no matter what evil they may do; to do less, will cause the curse of God to descend on this country, or so their religious leaders aver. The Scripture used to back this contention is found in Genesis 12:3 and contains God’s blessing to Abraham:
“I will bless them that bless thee; and curse him that curseth thee.”
They are very careful not to tell their parishioners that Abraham was a Hebrew, not a Jew and that there were no people known as Jews on the Bible scene, until 2 Kings 16:6, about 1200 years after the time of Abraham, and here we find them fighting against Israel.” – Jack Mohr.
Let’s look at some other verses that the Arminians, Calvinists and Universalists use and then examine them more closely.
8) “And this scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.”
18) “Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?”
18) “And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”
4) “And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;”
14) “And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shall spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.”
2) “You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities.”
So far, we have seen the words, “heathen,” “nations,” and “families” are used interchangeably. If we take these English words, we have here at their face value, it might appear that somehow these “blessings” might be for all races. Many reasons that the other races will benefit by Israel’s blessing directly or indirectly and that somehow some of these blessings will rub off on them.
Was Israel to be separate to keep from the heathen so that they would not learn their ways? Or was Israel to be inclusive so they could teach the heathen their ways? Which way is correct? Who was Israel to teach?
There is another scripture which provides the answer. It gives the correct answer. The parallel scripture is Acts 3:25. If refers to Genesis 12:3:
25) “Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.”
The word “thy seed” means the seed of Jacob, the covenant people of God. The word “kindreds” makes all the difference in the world as to what these passages are all about. The word indicates that the blessings are for the “kindred” people—the descendants of Adam—kinfolk.
Now we can know for sure who the “heathen” of Galatians 3:8 are—they are pure-blooded Adamites. The “nations” of Genesis 18:18, 22:18, 26:4 and the “families” of Genesis 28:14 and Amos 3:2 also mean pure-blood Adamites.
Now you can see why there are very few Christian Identity people in the world today. One must be a good reader or a good listener to a person who has read a great deal, including the Bible as well as Bible concordances and encyclopedias. Since there have been many deliberate and unintentional mistakes in the translation in the Bible, one must use the concordances and encyclopedias to reach the right conclusion and break the code.
The Bible is a book consisting of 66 books. A person can’t take one verse and build a doctrine on that one single verse of scripture. Two or more verses must be found to understand what the true doctrine is. It takes a lot of work.
So, what day do I think is the right day to hold church services? Saturday, Sunday, etc.? It is my opinion that it doesn’t make any difference which day the church meets. It is wrong if a church believes that the day they choose is the only day that others can meet lawfully. If we say that Sunday is the day the church should meet and if you don’t meet on this day you are wrong—that is incorrect. As long as we are under the Gregorian or other type calendars, we can never keep the right sabbath day in our age.
It is my opinion, that keeping the holidays that the Gregorian calendar is based on, i.e., Easter, the Mass of Christ, New Year’s, Halloween is wrong. We are commanded not “to learn the way of the heathen.” All of these holidays have their origin in the non-believers.
It is my opinion, that blessing our ancient enemies is a method that will bring curses to our nation. The unholy seed line has the ability of using deceit, to cause our people to not keep the commandments of our LORD God. Beware of those who hate our Savior. We must be hospitable to our brethren, not the whole world.
And it is my opinion, that Israel was to provide the way to the other Adamic peoples in the world. Many Israelites had left the nation of Israel in Egypt, others in the wilderness and still more while they were a nation in the middle east. And Abraham was only one from his race that was chosen. All Adamites, or families, or kindreds of the world, other Israelites who had departed, could learn Israel’s ways…not all the races of the world, including the wicked seed line.
To be continued.
Blessed be the LORD God of Israel.
