Scripture Reading:  Psalms 115:9-18

The more you trust God, the easier it will be to obey Him.  The following scriptures were discussed and are recommended for a bible study.

Proverbs 15:3  You can't hide from God.  Our God is loving and forgiving.

Jeremiah 7:21-23  God led His children out of Egypt. His command was that they love and obey Him.

Jeremiah 7:24-28  Israel did not listen and obey.  They did not love the truth.  It happened then and it is happening now.

1 Samuel 15:1-3; 8-9  Sometimes God tells you what to do, but not why. 

1 Samuel 15:19-28  God loves obedience more than sacrifice.  If you fear people more than you fear God, you won't obey God.

Proverbs 1:22-33  Sometimes prayers go unanswered because of our sin. Trust and obey God.

Luke 12:49-53  Christ brings division within families.

Ezra 4:1-5  Don't align with non-Israelites.  It will sabotage and weaken us.

Numbers 25:1-5  The plague killed 24,000 people.  It was time to start killng people who were sacrificing to other gods.

Numbers 25:6-15  Phinehas killed which turned God's wrath away.  God blessed Phinehas.

Daniel 3:16-18  three faithful men in the fiery furnace.  They didn't worry about the final outcome.  They trusted God whatever happened.

Daniel 3:28-29 King Nebuchadnezzar was inspired by the positve out of these men who trusted in God.

Daniel 6:16; 20-27  Daniel in the lions den.  Daniel trusted and kept on prayer.  He obeyed God and not man.  Be strong.  Pray for strength

Exodus 12:1; 12  Passover was about trusting and obeying God.  The death of the lamb saved them.

2 Peter 2:20-22  There is no blessing in being ignorant, but if you know the truth, don't reject it.

1 Samuel 12:20-25  God will not forsake us, no matter our trials.

Isaiah 50:10  If you trust God, you will obey and do that all the days of your life.

Hebrews 13:17, 47, 7, 20-21  New covenants are still there.

1 Timothy 5:17  People will try to teach you God's Word.  Honor them by learning.

Phillipians 2:1-3  Whether you have a low self esteem or a high self esteem, you are thinking about yourself.  Esteem and help others and you wont have any problems in that regard.

Exodus 4:10-2  God is telling Moses that He already know Moses' weaknesses.  God worked through Moses and Moses accomplished many things, despite his weakneses.

Joshua 3:7  God was with Joshua, just as he was with Abraham.  Step in when necessary to help others.  God will help you.
