Scripture Reading:  Romans 1:16

The questions are: who is the “Jew” and who is the “Greek” mentioned in this verse of Scripture?  There are several possibilities that interpreters of the Bible have come up with:

  • The Jews are really anyone who is a Jew (be it an Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Mizrahi, Ethiopian, Hassidic, conservative, orthodox, reformed, etc.) and the Greeks are all the rest of the people or Gentiles.  That means everyone who is alive, i.e. universalism.  NIV has translated “Gentile” instead of Greek for this verse.
  • The Jews are really Judeans and the Greeks are the Greek speaking people; no blacks, Orientals, Pacific islanders or others are categorized in either group. 
  • The Jews are really the House of Judah and the Greeks are the House of Israel.
  • The Jews are really the Edomites or Idumeans and the Greeks are the people of Alexander the Great’s empire who spoke Greek.

The Bible can only be understood if the Holy Spirit reveals the correct interpretation to His chosen people.  Without the Holy Spirit, you can get all kinds of different views and ministries based on the Bible.  You can find almost any church that has the beliefs that any person may hold, no matter how much they are filled with heresies or weak doctrine.

Scripture Reading: 1 Chronicles 21:13, 17 

Does the way The Scriptures present David as a man of God “after His own heart” indicate to us The Author expects us to know what was in David’s heart?  Does anyone get the sense God expects us to know what was in David’s heart from The Scriptures we have shared? 

Classmates:  we covered part Two of this evidence [Jan. 1].  Part One was [Nov. 20].  After Part One Pastor Don said something that stuck with me.  David’s calling before he was anointed by Samuel was Shepherd.  The God of Israel is the Good Shepherd in Jesus Christ our LORD!  Both Jesus and David are Shepherds in Israel!!!

SCRIPTURE READING: Lamentations 1:8, 10, 12

Will America be replaced by non-Adamic peoples? It’s happening!  We in America have rejected God’s commands just as Jerusalem did in Jeremiah’s day. America is fast becoming no longer the land of the covenant people, but rather the land of the heathen people.

The book of Jeremiah (as well as Lamentations) comes from one of the great prophets of the Old Testament. Sometimes known as the “weeping prophet,” he lived to witness the fall of Jerusalem and the Babylonian captivity. The book has outpourings of rage against sin and deep agony of soul; descriptions of personal and national crises, and beautiful affirmations of hope and deliverance. He was faithful to God, but the revival of his people’s faith did not come in his day. Instead, after forty years of ministry, he saw the people slaughtered and the Holy City destroyed. Much of his sorrow is expressed in the book of Lamentations.

Scripture Reading Matthew 7:22-23

“Beware of false prophets” (Matthew 7:15a) is the warning that Jesus Christ gave to His covenant people. The false prophets are ravening wolves dressed up as sheep.   Jesus tells His people that the false prophets will:

  • Prophesy in the His name,
  • Will cast out demons in His name, and
  • Will do many wonderful works in His name.

Does anyone here know any false prophets?   Does anyone here know of any preacher who casts out demons in the name of Jesus the Christ? My conclusion is that there are significant more false preachers in our land than real preachers!

Matthew 7:28: “And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine.”

Dispensationalism vs. Christian Identity Theology

Dispensationalism started in the 1800s.  It changed Christendom.  It has brought to the forefront many false preachers who cast out demons.

Part 1:  A list of false preachers and the history behind a couple of them.

Part 2:  What is so dangerous about dispensationalism?  What has happened to the average church in America in the last 200 years? It has been integrated.  Dispensationalism equates the Jews with the rest of the world.

Part 3: Many of today's churches have as their basis of their end times beliefs, the teaching of the Catholic Jesuits. The secret rapture of the church (which church?), the seven years of tribulation, the mass conversion of the Jews (which Jews), the second coming of Jesus Christ, the millennial kingdom, the two marriages, etc. was all started by a Catholic Jesuit, Francisco Ribera. The biggest error of dispensationalism is that it nullifies the wicked seed line--the eternal enemy of Jesus Christ and His followers.

Part 4: In the teaching of dispensationalism, there are two future weddings.  One with the church and Jesus the Son during the seven year Tribulation and one, a remarriage, of the Jews and the Father.  What is wrong with this teaching?

Part 5: Can the Jew ever be converted in the past? Can the Jew ever be converted in the present? Can the Jew ever be converted in the future? If the Jew has never and will never be converted, then dispensationalism is totally in error.

Part 6: Dispensationalism is only a little more than 100 years old in Christendom, but was written about 500 years ago by a Jewish Jesuit.  They have everything after chapter three in the book of Revelation in the future.  The end of this age will be followed by the rapture of the church, then comes the seven years of tribulation on the Jews, then come the bodily return of Jesus Christ with His church members, who join up with the Jews, many of whom had be martyred to rule in the 1000-year kingdom of God.  What is wrong with this?  This is what the sermon is about.

Part 7: Do you have any idea why residents of this city want the man that it is name for to have his statues torn down and the name of their city change to something else?  You may be surprised who it is.  This is one of the main parts of this sermon.\

Part 8:  What started World War I?  What did Germany have to do with this?  Why were there seven new countries formed after the War?  Was it all over a shot future king and queen of Austria-Hungary?

Part 9: The Jews tell us that Communism is Judaism, so why is it antisemitism to criticize the Jews. They believe not Jesus, because they are not of His sheep. They are wolves.

Part 10:  What is a Revival? Part 1  Were America's revivals good revivals or were they bad?  Did they make America better or worse?

Part 11: What is a Revival? Part 2  Were there Americans who knew who the enemy of our God and people were?  This sermon gives a few of them and what happened to them.

INTRODUCTION

In this sermon we will be covering the writings of Solomon as they have to do with racial intimations. Solomon was known for his wisdom, but it appears he did not always follow his own advice, but rather succumbed to temptation. Perhaps some of his failures led to his great wisdom, while at the same time and in due time, God inspired him in answer to his own prayer.

A bit of historical background:  Solomon’s reign was the “golden age” of Israel. The magnificence and splendor of Solomon's court were unrivaled. He had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines, an evidence at once of his pride, his wealth, and his sensuality. The maintenance of his household involved immense expenditure.

Solomon's reign was not only a period of great material prosperity, but was equally remarkable for its intellectual activity. He was the leader of his people also in this uprising amongst them of new intellectual life. He spake three thousand proverbs: and his songs were a thousand and five.

Scripture Reading: 1 Chronicles 21:17

We confirmed in Part 1 that David was the man after God’s own heart.  We are reviewing the Evidence of the Scriptures to solve a bit of a Mystery.  We are asking what was in David’s heart that caused the God of our Fathers to call David a man “after his own heart”.  We confirmed in Part 1 that Abraham was called the Friend of God because he did not withhold Isaac, his “only begotten son”, from Sacrifice.  We also confirmed that God made Moses his clear choice to lead Israel from Egypt to the Land of Milk and Honey by speaking with him “face to face”.  [Exodus 33:11] and [Deuteronomy 34:10].  Do we know why God called David a man “after his own heart”?  Do we know now what was in David’s heart?  We found with David a number of references to Sheep.  David was the shepherd boy.  God “took him from the sheepfolds”.  [Psalms 78:70].  Are references to David and sheep somehow a clue to solving this mystery?

Scripture Reading: Titus 1:14:

There are several major discrepancies and controversies that are in the different English versions of the Bible that we now have.  There are also many stories that are hard to believe, but they are true, nevertheless.  But many of the stories can be interpreted in different ways.  Most of the details are missing in the Bible. 

Sometimes in Scripture there are no sure answers to all the particulars of the story.  Some are popularly viewed with a very wrong interpretation.  I picked some of the more interesting ones to decipher.
