Scripture Reading:Psalm 52:1-9

This Psalm, Psalm 52, is about Doeg and what he said to Saul about David’s visit to Nob. Saul had just criticized his Benjaminite servants that they had conspired against him when Doeg, the Edomite, answered him.

Who is an Edomite? It is a descendant of Esau. What is a descendant of Esau doing making comments, or even being in the army of the descendants of Jacob? Doeg served King Saul as the chief of his herdsmen. The Bible does not explicitly state how a foreigner (stranger) and an enemy from Edom joined Saul’s royal staff. But most historians and scholars suggest Doeg may have been taken as a captive during Israel’s military campaign against Edom or entered service as a political ally or high-ranking servant.

SHAMMAH

Scripture Reading: 1 Samuel 22:2

Who were these four hundred men who were either in (1) distress, or (2) in debt, or (3) were discontented? Who did they gather themselves to? It doesn’t sound like they would be a good group to have working in your company, or living in your neighborhood, or fighting in the foxhole on your side, or being your friends or acquaintances. But in the previous verse it adds another characteristic of this group: his father’s house and his brethren.

Part 1:  Shammah  Do you know any of the names of the top five mighty men in Daviid's army?  They accomplished some "mighty" feats.

Called by His Name

By Pastor Jim Jester

August 16, 2026

SCRIPTURE TEXT: 2 Chronicles 7:14

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Who are God’s people, and what does it mean to be called by God’s name? What saith the Scriptures?

Deu 32:9 For the LORD'S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.

Ps 147:19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. 20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they [other races] have not known them.

Isa 45:4 For Jacob my servant's sake and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

Isa 46:3 Hearken unto me, O house of Jacob, and all the remnant of the house of Israel, which are borne by me from the belly, which are carried from the womb:

Isa 59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, saith the LORD. 21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the LORD; My spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed's seed, saith the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.

Are not all of these racist statements? Of course they are. One should also read Ezra chapters 9-10 when it was discovered that many of Israel married “strange wives.” The Israelites had to prove their identity.

Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 28:43, 44:

43) “The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.

44) He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.”

Who shall be the head or the leader? Who shall be the tail or the follower? Deuteronomy, chapter 28 tells of what will happen if Israel fails to hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which he commanded thee.

When Israel does this, they are going to be ruled by people who are not their own kind, i.e. foreigners. They will be at the bottom of the rung.

Now, is Israel keeping the law of God or have they not been keeping His commandments and His statutes? It is my opinion that Israel doesn’t even know who they come from. They are ignorant that they are descendants of Jacob and are recipients of the Abrahamic covenant.

Who are the Modern-Day Descendants of Esau? - Part 3

Scripture Reading:  Joshua 24:20:  “If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then He will turn and do you harm, and consume you, after He hath done you good.”

We are trying in this series to show who are the modern-day descendants of Esau. In fact, when I asked a Christian Zionist debater, who he thought the Jews said were the people descended from Esau, he answered, “He didn’t know and didn’t care.” I think that is the attitude of most people in the world today. He was unaware that the Jews say that the modern-day descendants of Esau are Rome, the Europeans, and Christians. And that would include him, wouldn’t it?

Look at what Burton L. Visotzky, Nathan and Janet Appleman Professor Emeritus of Midrash and interreligious studies surmise:

Enter Into His Rest

By Walter Giddings

July 26, 2026

Is Jesus doing His Good Works through us while we await The Redemption of our Bodies? Is the Indwelling of The Holy Spirit, giving us The Birth from above, the down payment for The Redemption of our Bodies? Does there appear to be 2 Obstacles obstructing us from entering into His Rest? Do Unbelief and Failure to Cease from our own works cause any of our countries to “seem to come short ... of a promise being left us of entering into his rest”?  Have we all been working too hard?!

The Doctrine of Satan - Part 2

By Rev. Jim Jester

July 19, 2026

SCRIPTURE READING: Luke 10:18, ISV,

“I watched Satan falling from heaven like lightning.”

This is the continuation from Part 1 of the Doctrine of Satan. Those in Christian Identity who do not believe Satan is a real entity, but only a personification of an abstract idea (such as the sin nature), may accuse me of believing what the Judeo mainstream churches believe. That may very well be true; but just because they are wrong on some things, does not make them wrong on all things. Both positions cannot be correct.

In Part 1 we covered three examples from the Old Testament: The King of Tyre, the King of Babylon and the Prince of Persia. Now we shall take a walk through the New Testament.

Who are the Modern-Day Descendants of Esau?

by Pastor Don Elmore

Part 1:  While the twin boys were in the womb of their mother, it was proclaimed that they would grow up and be two distinct nations. Their descendants are now one of the most important questions the believer should learn from reading the Bible.

Part 2:  Which side do you believe? The descendants of Esau or the descendants of Jacob?

The Gap

by Walter Giddings

Is the Gap Truth or theory? Where in the Scriptures do we find a gap?  How well did our fathers, living under the Old Covenant, understand the Messianic Prophecies? Are there Scriptures that reveal the people’s understanding in Jesus’ day?
