Deuteronomy

by Pastor Don Elmore

A study on the book of Deuteronomy.

Part 1:  Why is it that America and the other Israel nations are not receiving the blessings of their God?  It is because they are not separate. The entire Old Testament teaches this.  Look at Deuteronomy 1 and see if you don't agree.

Part 2:  The journey from slavery to the Promised Land was full of success and failure on the part of the Israel people.  There was even a time when the Israelite people murmured about stoning four of their leaders and returning to Egypt.  But our God refused to allow that to happen.

Part 3:  What was the factor in Israel's army winning or losing a battle in a war?  Israel's army was an all white male army, with no perversions.  The youngest soldier was 20 years old. There was only one religion, one race.  The deciding factor:  Was their God with them?  Now compare the United States army of today?

Part 4:  Israel totally destroyed all the Amorites that were from the Arnon River to Mount Hermon. The two kingdoms of Sihon and Og. How did they do it? It was their LORD God who gave them the victory. What else happened at Beth-peor that the eyes of Israel had witnessed? Where was Moses buried?

Part 5:  What would America have to do to become great?  What made Israel great in the Bible?  Do you think that what made Israel great would make America great again?

Part 6:  The Bible teaches that God had a love for the children of Jacob, who was the son of Isaac and the grandson of Abraham.  Doesn't that make God a racist?  Also: why does the Young Womens' Christian Association's mission is to eliminate racism?  Why does the largest Protestant organization, the Southern Baptist, say that racism is the doctrine of the devil?

Part 7:  Would the United We Stand organization who sponsored the women's marches last week in Cincinnati be in favor of God's laws or would they keep their own God forbidden laws for their daughter's sake?  Find out what they believe--they are our enemy.

Part 8:  Who is the president of the United States' chief religious advisor?  Who said the prayer at his inauguration? If you don't know, then this will be a good sermon for you.

Part 9:  Almost all churches have as their main purpose the salvation of the souls of every person who is living on the earth.  But is that what the Bible tells them to do?  I believe that the Bible gives another view to its church.

Part 10: Do you believe the Christian Churches practice of what they do or say to get a person "saved."  If you do, then this article has some important questions that need to be answered.

Part 11: What is the relationship between Judah's wife and Tamar and the situation in the United States today?  There are several very interesting situations that are happening in today's world.  How does it all tie in with the parable of the Husbandman?

Part 12:  This past Friday the world gave honor by burying who they say was the "greatest preacher in the century."  Billy Graham was laid to rest in North Carolina after transporting his body to different places around the country including one day in the Capitol Rotunda.  Was he really  America's pastor?   Billy was converted under a preacher who was anti-jewish and anti-Catholic, who went to Bob Jones University for only one year, and was made a celebrity by a fellow mason, William Randolph Hearst.  At the end of  his life, Billy was the person who changed America's churches to be nothing more than ecumenical Roman Catholic integrated churches.  He was an apostate, Roman Catholic, freemason, Baptist preacher for the New World Order who said that all races of any religion could be saved.

Part 13: The LORD God of Israel spoke the Ten Commandments to His people when they were at Mt. Sinai.  They people of Israel were amazed that they heard the LORD and were still alive. Who says our God doesn't exist? When He speaks, He is felt, and He even listens to His people.

Part 14:  What group of individuals is talked about in the Bible as being the plotters, harassers, liars, hecklers, murderers of God and His people?  There is only one.  Who is it?  Let the Bible verses identify who the Christian's long-time enemy is.

Part 15:  Answers in Genesis says that interracial marriage is okay as long as the bride and groom are Christians.  Why is that incorrect? And do you know who Mitch McConnell's two wives are?  Find out in this message.

Part 16:  What experiences did Moses and Aaron have as they were chosen to led Israel out of Egypt unto the Promised Land?  Would you want to have been either one of these two leaders?  Let us not murmur at the brethren who are commissioned by our Father to led us.

Part 17:  Do you know how many times Moses ascended Mt. Sinai?  Do you know one time he went up with over 70 others? If you are not aware, you might enjoy this sermon.

Part 18:  What can we do as Israelites in a world that has opposite beliefs that we have?  The answer is in today's lesson.

Part 19:  Who was the only nation in the history of the earth who ever had as its king the LORD God of the universe?  And what would you think of the placement of that nation amongst all the other nations?  Would it be the head or the tail?

Part 20:  The inter-racial marriage between Prince Harry and American-born bi-racial actress Rachel Meghan Markle was a showcase for the Illuminati to demonstrate to the world the new normal. What was about 40 years ago in America against the law now is politically correct.  This terrible sin will destroy God's unique creation.

Part 21: Do you know what the main problem is in the world today?  Have you been concerned how hard it is to reach someone with the truth?  With all the great books that have been written that explain what happened to our people, you would think that there would be more people who would be in the truth.  These two verses in Revelation I believe give us the reason why.

Part 22:  Who was created to fight against Protestantism?  Who took a vow to destroy Protestantism?  Do you think that this is a hate group?

Part 23:  The calendar that we use today is nothing like the calendar the ancient Hebrews used.  The modern calendar was started by the Roman Catholic Church and is based on the calculation of Easter. These leads to Daniel's 70th week and who it was for?

Part 24:  Sodomites are unclean.  Deuteronomy gives us a clue of why we are having trouble following God's law.  Look how far from God's law we have come. We owe Sodom and Gomorrah an apology.

Scripture Reading:  Deuteronomy 1:1-5

First, this week has seen over ¼ of a million-people evacuated from their homes in the western part of America. Where and why? It is in southern California near Los Angeles that wild fires, spread by high winds, up to 70 mph, are devastating neighborhoods, practically without any warning. Hundreds of homes have been destroyed, with the threat of many more. A quote from a resident: “I have lived in this area for 30 years and I have never seen anything like this.” Guess what city Meghan Markle was reared in. We have raised the ire of our LORD God.

Second, President Trump agreed with Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel that the United States will recognize Jerusalem, the main city of the three major religions, as the capital of Israel. Mr. Trump, officials said, would make clear that the United States is not taking a position on whether, or how, Jerusalem is divided between Israel and the Palestinians. He will also not take a position on who will control a disputed area of the Old City, known as the Temple Mount to Jews and Haram al-Sharif to Muslims, which has been a flash point for tensions.

President Trump plans to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the American Embassy there, upending nearly seven decades of American foreign policy and potentially destroying his efforts to broker peace between Israel and the Palestinians. The very pro-Jewishness of our government should be very evident. They put fake-Israel first. Palestinians as well as many of our allies decry this position. We have raised the ire of our LORD God.

Scripture Reading:  John 4:22

The last week of November saw Prince Harry of England announce his engagement to the biracial American actress, Meghan Markle. The 35-year-old actress has a white father and a black mother who were divorced when she was just 6-years-old. That would make Meghan a mongrel, but as the world says, she is biracial. Meghan herself is once divorced. Does anyone feel like they would like to tear their clothes and pull the hair off their head and beard?

But Meghan’s background is more than a white/black mixture. Her ancestry is an unusual combination of a Black/White/Protestant/Roman Catholic/Jewish blend with ancient beliefs of the Edomite/Samaritan religious systems. She was married to Jewish producer Trevor Engleson from 2011 to 2013. The pair had a Jewish wedding in Jamaica, complete with a “Jewish chair dance.”

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 27:11-13

Galilee to the North, Judah on the South and in the middle, was Samaria; three different areas of the former kingdom of Israel. And they were populated by very different individuals after Israel was deported because they broke God’s laws. The punishment, which they must have forgotten, was captivity by a foreign power; as the six tribes on Mt. Ebal read exactly what would happen to the Israel people if they disobeyed their God. The six tribes who read the curses consisted of the oldest and youngest sons of Leah: Reuben and Zebulon, and the two sons of Rachel’s handmaid and the two sons of the Leah’s handmaid. All the children of Rachel and four of the sons of Leah were assigned to read the blessings on Mt. Gerizim.

What a day that must have been. The Israelites were instructed to gather stones and put plaster over them. The Israelites were to write the laws of God on these stones that were located on either Mt. Gerizim or Mt. Ebal (there is confusion on which mountain, depending on what source you read). In addition, they were to build an altar unto the LORD their God, on which they were to offer burnt and peace offerings.

Part 1:  What happened during the reigns of Ahaziah and Jehoram of the House of Israel along with Jehoram and Ahaziah of the House of Judah?  What happened? Why were the kings from both houses--Israel and Judah--both murdered in the same day!

Part 2: There have been rival competing temples in the history of God's holy people. Also a discussion of the world-wide epidemic of interracial marriages.

Eyes That See - Part 2

Sermon Notes by Pastor Mark Downey

Scripture Reading:  Isaiah 44:9 “They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.

“Oh say can you see” is the first line in The Star Spangled Banner, and Francis Scott Key meant for it to mean patriotic pride after a ferocious all-night battle in the War of 1812, their flag was still visible “by the dawn's early light.” The Spirit of 1776, in the form of a flag, reflected what White Christian Americans were willing to die for, namely our freedom to worship Jesus and not be ruled by tyrants. “And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head, and a reed in His right hand: and they bowed the knee before Him, and mocked Him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!” Mt. 17:29. When Jesus was abducted in the middle of the night by a mob of shameless hypocrites, the Cross of Calvary is still seen by those who have eyes to see its glory after the dawn of 2000 years. This translation of the KJV is a mockery as well, in that Jesus was not king of the jews, that is, the non-Israelite Edomite Pharisees, but rather King of the Judahites and thus Israel.

An explanation showing the difference between one of our five senses (sight), and what Jesus meant by "eyes that see" spiritually.

Part 1: A number of examples are given to show what spiritual blindness is as it relates to the idols of the heart.

Scripture Reading: Ezra 10:10-11

10) “And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed, and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.

11) Now therefore make confession unto the LORD God of your fathers, and do His pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.

Have you ever seen children of a mixed-race couple? Which race do they look like? The majority look like they are a blend of both races; they are what the Bible calls them: a “confusion of faces.” They have genes from both races, and they can usually be very confused as to what race they come from. The children are certainly not born in the image of either parent.

The Israelites had committed two main sins:

  1. They hadn’t separated themselves from the people of the land, and

  2. They hadn’t separated themselves from their strange wives.

Let’s go back into Chapter 9 and see if we can find what led up to the controversy in Chapter 10. Let us read verses 1-4:

Scripture Reading: Luke 10:21-24

From an anonymous quote I found years ago: “I see said the blind man as he opened his Bible.” A closed Bible availeth very little. The sights and sounds that Jesus spoke of in Luke were figures of speech. It was no more literal than Romans 11:25, “that blindness in part is happened to Israel.” The “blindness” was a hardening of the heart of which the good news of the Gospels could not enter a man. Thus, Jesus was speaking to His inner circle who would be receptive after being under the present influence of the Lord's teaching about Himself. Even though their faith was weak and wavering, they got a glimpse of His Divinity. It must have sunk so deep into their hearts, that they made the transition from physical sight to spiritual sight. They were blessed beyond measure. We find a lesson in Mark 8:24 in which a blind man, who was not born that way, was healed by Jesus. “Regaining his sight he said, I see people, but they look like trees walking." Interestingly, there are some who place more significance on the tree as “people”, than the knowledge of good and evil in the Garden of Eden. If we were to point out a parallel of these trees, which not everyone will see, they represent a prejudice and presumption that prevents them from seeing the intents and purposes of God. The first sin and thus the Fall of man stems from the presumption that there would be no repercussions. Eve thought, 'well, this isn't going to kill me' (Gen. 3:4-5). God knew she would disobey Him and He said, “Your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods.” Is that a good thing? Small 'g' gods are never good and you can never mix good with evil. The Fall of man was a curse, a combination of positive and negative, which results in a spiritual short circuit, the loss of immortality. Likewise, the healed blind man saw walking trees as such, because the restoration of sight was not immediate; he was seeing things in a state of confusion; obscured yet with imperfection.
