Scripture Reading: Exodus 23:25-33
The modern religion books say that Hinduism has grown to become the world’s third largest religion, after apostate (1) Judeo-universalism-Christianity and (2) Muslim Islam. But with 1,000,000,000 adherents to their religion, they vastly surpass true covenant Christianity. It is the dominant religion in India, Nepal, and among the Tamils in Sri Lanka. And it has become in recent years a major influence in both Christianity and among non-Christians in the United States and around the world.
Hinduism differs from Christianity and other monotheistic religions in that it does not have:
- A single founder
- A specific theological system
- A single concept of deity
- A single holy text
- A single system of morality
- A central religious authority
- The concept of a prophet.
About all my knowledge of Hinduism was what I learned in school.
