Mormons in the White House

Scripture Reading: Mark 7:1-9

Who was the first Presidential Candidate who was murdered in the United States while he was running for the office?  There have been several Presidents who were assassinated while in office; a few who had suffered several bad wounds, but this question refers to a Presidential Candidate who was killed before the election.

Before I answer this question, let’s consider the Republican Candidates who are left in the election for 2012.  There are serious questions about Mitt Romney’s religious beliefs, that I have heard absolutely none reported by the news media.  Rick Santorum is a Roman Catholic.  Santorum is a congregant of the Opus Dei-linked St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in upscale Great Falls, Virginia which links him to former FBI director Louis Freeh and organized crime.

Newt Gingrich is a Marxist/Leninist Communists traitor and revolutionary.  Ron Paul just isn’t going to win.  On the other side, is another communist, but he is not even a citizen.   They have America right where they want her.  No good choice!

I will give you a clue that the first Presidential Candidate that was murdered was a Mormon; do you know who it was?  Let’s look at all the Mormon candidates for President who have run, going in reverse order of the year in which they ran:

  1. Mitt Romney, in the year 2012, has a good possibility of being the Republican Candidate; in fact, he is in the lead at this time.
  2. Jon Huntsman, in the year 2012, was a Presidential candidate, who was one of the first to drop out.
  3. Mitt Romney, in the year 2008; winner was John McCain; Presidential winner was Barry Soetoro, alias Barack Obama.
  4. Orrin Hatch, in the year 2000; winner was George W. Bush.
  5. Mo Udall, in the year 1976, Utah Congressman; winner was Jimmy Carter.
  6. George Romney, in the year 1968, winner was Richard Nixon.
  7. Joseph Smith, Jr., in the year 1844; assassinated in June; winner of Presidency was James K. Polk.  It was Joseph Smith, Jr. who was the first Presidential Candidate who was murdered in the United States.

The only Joseph Smith, Jr. that I know of was the founder of the Latter-day Saints Church or the Mormon Church; was that the same man?  Yes, it was.  James K. Polk (from whom I am descended) defeated Henry Clay in a very close election.  What if Joseph Smith, who began his candidacy in February of that year, would have not been murdered in June?  Who would have won then?

Why was this leader of the Mormons running for President of the United States in the first place?  Joseph Smith certainly lived an exciting and unorthodox life.  How many of us knew that Joseph Smith had been running for five months as a Presidential Candidate of the United States when he was murdered in the Carthage jail?

Joseph decided to run for President after the Mormon Church pleaded in vain for the federal government to compensate the Latter-day Saints for the property that they lost and for all the afflictions they suffered when they were expelled from the State of Missouri as a result of the extermination order in 1838.  They had gone to Washington, D. C., in order to talk with the President of the United States about their situation that had occurred in Missouri.  In fact, the Mormons had only been in existence for 9 years and they had already been chased out of three states:  New York, Ohio and Missouri.  They now had moved their “Kingdom of God” and built the largest city in Illinois at that time, Nauvoo.  The evil, demonic spirits were moving exponentially.

Joseph Smith established a confidential Council of Fifty or “Ytfif” (Fifty spelled backwards), comprised of both Mormons and non-Mormons, to help attend to temporal matter, including the eventual development of a one-world government, in harmony with preparatory plans for the second advent of the Savior.  This was originally an elite secret order within the highest levels of the LDS Church designed to bring about LDS rule of the United States.  Joseph Smith originally called this group the “Illuminati!”  With this council, Joseph Smith was crowned the KING of the United States

The situation in Missouri ended in a very, dangerous situation.  The State of Missouri literally kicked the Mormons out of their state and put several Mormon leaders in jail for a several months.   Once they got out of jail, they sought ways to make their injustices correct.  Joseph Smith, Sidney Rigdon, Elias Higbee and Orrin Porter Rockwell, met with President Van Buren on November 29, 1839 and eventually ended with the President denying their request when they met with him again in February 1840.  Several of the Mormons had stayed in Washington in between these two visits, to try to gain support from some Congressmen, but the Mormons basically failed in their requests.

So, after this failure, Joseph Smith’s primary motivation was to run for the President of the United States, himself, in order to do all in his power to protect the Latter-day Saints from the kinds of injustices that they had suffered in Missouri.  On February 8, 1844, the Prophet (Joseph Smith) declared:

“I would not have suffered my name to have been used by my friends on anywise as President of the United States or candidate for that office, if I and my friends could have had the privilege of enjoying our religious and civil rights as American citizens, even those rights which the Constitution guarantees unto all her citizens alike.  But this as a people we have been denied from the beginning.  Persecution has rolled upon our heads from time to time, from portions of the United States, like peals of thunder, because of our religion; and no portion of this Government as yet has stepped forward for our relief.  And in view of these things, I feel it to be my right and privilege to obtain what influence and power I can, lawfully, in the United States, for the protection of injured innocent”  (History of the Church, chapter 6, pages 210-211).

Joseph Smith picked as his Vice-Presidential candidate:   converted Church of Christ theologian Sidney Rigdon.  As Joseph Smith’s disappointing visit to Washington, D. C., became a turning point for him; his people had been abused and unjustly treated in Missouri, and the President of the United States, Van Buren, had refused to help.  The Church leaders would remember this neglect when the time came for another Presidential election.

In the Fall of 1843, Joseph Smith wrote a letter each to John C. Calhoun, Lewis Cass, Richard M. Johnson, Henry Clay and Martin Van Buren; the five leading candidates for the Presidency of the United States.  Each letter described the persecution the Mormons had suffered at the hands of the State of Missouri and then asked the pointed question, “What will be your rule of action relative to us as a people,” should fortune favor your ascension to the chief magistracy?  Only three of the five responded to Joseph Smith’s letters, and they expressed little sympathy for the cause of the Latter-day Saints.

When Joseph Smith realized that none of the leading candidates for the Presidency would pledge to support redress for the Saints, he held a historic meeting in the mayor’s office at Nauvoo on January 29, 1844, with the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and others.  It was unanimously decided that Joseph Smith would run for President of the United States on an Independent platform.  Thus began one of the most fascinating, and most unknown, third-party presidential campaign in American history.

Joseph Smith’s platform did not specifically mention the Latter-day Saints’ persecution in Missouri; instead, it offered solutions for many of the nation’s most pressing problems:

  1. Full power to the President to send an army to suppress mobs without the Governor of a state first making a request.
  2. End slavery by paying every owner a reasonable price for his slaves out of surplus revenue.
  3. Reduce Congressional pay from $8 to $2 per day.  Have only two members of the House of Representative for every one million people.
  4. Favored extensive prison reform.
  5. In favor of forming a national bank.  He was run out of Ohio because of the fraud that he had committed by forming a bank, himself.  He and his church were literally chased by people he had defrauded out of Ohio to Missouri.
  6. In favor of annexing Oregon and Texas, but only if Native Americans gave their consent.

On April 9, 1844, during a general conference, the campaign began to take on a unique nature.  Brigham Young announced that elders would be called to both “preach the Gospel and electioneer.”  Soon there were at least 337 missionaries who were assigned to all of the 26 states in the Union and in the Wisconsin Territory.

They were making great progress, and many of the people of the United States felt if the Mormons did not win in 1844 they probably would in 1848.  Joseph Smith and his brother had been put in jail for burning down the printing house who had written a negative story about the Mormons and polygamy.  This gave the men who were plotting to take Joseph’s life, the opportunity to go to the jail and kill him.  And that is what happened.  It was while Joseph was in jail, that a mob attacked him and his brother and killed him in a bloody shoot-out.  Thus, ended Joseph Smith’s run for Presidency of the United States and the Mormons were soon chased out of the State of Illinois.

Let’s repeat it again:  At the death of Joseph Smith, who was a very strong Independent candidate, the Mormon Church had only been in existence for just 14 years! They had exceptional growth, from six people to getting kicked out of three states; with their Kingdom being the largest city in all of Illinois—Nauvoo; with a beautiful temple and town.  They also had a unique missionary system that was traveling and making new converts all over the world.  And one of these missionaries would convert a family who would then come to America; more about this later in the sermon.

Another little known fact of the Mormons; they split into two main groups.  For who was to take the place of Joseph Smith, Jr.?  Joseph had put in place that his eldest son, Joseph Smith III, would be his heir to the “Kingdom of God.”  Most of the Mormons agreed; but his eldest son was very young; only eleven years old when Joseph was shot.  As a result of his young age, the vast majority of Mormons went with the President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles—Brigham Young.

Brigham Young took the majority of Mormons from Nauvoo, Illinois to Salt Lake City, Utah.  He left a smaller remnant of Mormons in Nauvoo.  It was in 1860, at the age of 28, when Joseph Smith III, took over the Presidency of the Reorganized Mormons.

They eventually settled in Independence, Missouri; where the Mormons believe the Garden of Eden was located.  So, within thirty years of the existence of the Mormon Church, there were two main divisions:  (1) Salt Lake City, Utah and (2) Independence, Missouri that both claimed that they were the only true church in the world!  Do Salt Lake City Mormons really believe that Joseph Smith’s Junior’s eldest son is a member of a false Mormon church?

Mitt Romney is a Salt Lake City Mormon.  His great-great-grandparents were converted to Mormonism in 1839 by a Mormon missionary in England.  They came to America and joined the Kingdom of God in Nauvoo.  Mitt’s father, George, was born in Mexico because of the polygamist’s views of Mitt’s grandparents.  They eventually returned to Salt Lake City, Utah to avoid a revolution.

Remember how the church of Mormon had its beginning?  It had its origin in the 1820 meeting of Joseph Smith with two of their gods in the forest in New York.  Smith asked these two gods, “What church should I join?”  One of the Parsonages answered him:

  1. “You should join none of them.”

For there has been no true Christian Church for over 1500 years; but the great Battle of Blood River was fought in 1838 in South Africa, just 8 years after the Mormon Church begun.  It was one of the greatest victories in all of Christendom; 15,000 Zulus vs. 468 Afrikaners and none of the 468 Afrikaners suffered death or experienced a terrible injury.  The blood from thousands of Zulus made the nearby river red with their blood.  This battle was made with a covenant that the Afrikaners kept; they made a Sabbath day on each December 16th of each year that they kept and they built a church house in the land that God gave to them.  Were the Afrikaners helped by Almighty God or by evil, demonic spirits?

  2. “All of the church creeds are an abomination to me.”

This would include The Apostles’ Creed:

“I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, Born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead and buried; He descended into hell; the third day he rose again from the dead, He ascended into heaven and sitteth on the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; From thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Ghost; the Holy Christian Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting.  Amen.”

How is this Creed an abomination to God?  Is this a Creed made by Christians or by evil people?

  3. “All Christians are corrupt”

Foxe’s Book of Martyrs must be a tale of lies if what the Mormons say is true about the basis of their Church!

Mark 7:6, 7; which says; “Well hath Esaias (Isaiah) prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.  Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men?”

This is quoted by Mormons teaching that these verses apply to Christians of the early church.

These words that Jesus said to the supposedly Church members, was said to the “Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem” (Mark 7:1) who were Jews; not church members, not Israelites.  Jesus accused them of teaching the commandments of men (Mark 7:6), the tradition of the elders which His Church did not do; for they followed His commands. But the church wasn’t even formed yet—for it didn’t start until after Jesus’ resurrection; and no jew was ever a true member of any Church of Jesus Christ.

From this meeting, Joseph Smith took ten years before he establish his NEW church.  In between, in 1823, the angel Moroni visited Joseph and told him about the golden plates that were located in a hill near where he lived.  In the years 1827-1829 he translated these golden plates from Egyptian Reformed Hieroglyphics to English by means of special glasses that where provided him by the angel.  But in 1828, Joseph joined a Methodist Church!  He wasn’t a Methodist very long, for they kicked him out!  Mormons don’t answer why their first leader joined a church that God told him not to join!

It was in the year 1829, when John the Baptist came and gave them the authority to be baptized into the Aaronic Priesthood.  They baptized each other.  And in the year 1830, they started their Church with six members.

How can a Mormon run for President of the United States in a Protestant nation; it is because of the Constitution of the United States which allows him to take: Article VI, Section 3;  “… no religious test [Christian test]” [it]; “shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.”

No wonder the Mormons believe that the Constitution is a God inspired document!  The Constitution guarantees that any member of the federal government could not be disqualified because of their religious belief:  that means that they could be a Muslim, Atheist, Jewish, Hindu, or Mormon—what we have now in the Congress.  This violates the first command that our GOD gave to us, “Thou shall have no other gods before thee.”  This was the beginning of the end of Protestant America. Mitt Romney is an accomplished Mormon; he was/is a:

  1. Missionary
  2. Missionary zone leader
  3. Assistant to the missionary president
  4. Bishop
  5. President of about 12 wards
  6. Graduate of Brigham Young University
  7. Recipient of secret temple ceremonies
  8. High Priest in the Mormon Church
  9. Person who called down curses on the U.S.A.; this was part of their sacred temple rites and they have never repented of this action.
  10. Descendant of a devoted Mormon Family.

“Mitt comes from a long line of Romney’s that resided in England for generations and when an early Mormon missionary from America named Orson Hyde came to England to spread their word, Gaskell Romney and his wife Elizabeth converted in 1839.  Soon after they boarded a boat to America.”  The Story of George Romney, p. 50.

In 1862 Miles Romney, a son of Gaskell and Elizabeth began to practice plural marriage in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Miles had three wives after he had moved to St. Johns, Arizona.  But Congress passed a Bill called the Edmund’s Act which took a serious stance against polygamy.  Mitt Romney’s great-grandfather fled with his three wives to MEXICO so that they could continue their polygamist lifestyle with a multitude of other Mormon polygamists who had settled there.  All was well until the Civil War broke out in Mexico in 1911-1912.  Many Mormons, 2300 in three days, including George, who was five years old, returned to the El Paso, Texas to become “the first displaced persons of the twentieth century.”  Both the Congress of the United States and the Mexican government supplied aid to these 2300 Mormons.

Sixty years later in 1971, the Freeman Institute was founded by a very strong anti-communist, W. Cleon Skousen, a famous Mormon member of the John Birch Society where a lot of Mormons are members.  One of its main purposes was to have the LDS Church maintain its political agenda the best it can.  The name of “Freemen” comes from the Book of Mormon; chapter of Alma 51:6, 7:  “And those who were desirous that Pahoran should remain chief judge over the land took upon them the name of FREEMEN; and thus was the division among them, for the FREEMEN had sworn or covenanted to maintain their rights and the privileges of their religion by a free government.”

This illustrates how strongly the institute allied itself with the Book of Mormon teaching; because of this the organization changed its name to the National Center for Constitutional Studies in 1982.  In 1979, after Skousen declared President Jimmy Carter a puppet of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Rockefeller family, the president of the LDS Church issued a national order banning announcements about his organizations.  Skousen died in January of 2006.

There has been a high level of LDS political activism in the United States.  Many Mormons are either in the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) or the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).  At one time, four of the five joint chiefs were Mormons.  And many of the highest level presidential advisers have been Mormons.

And now we have Glenn Beck who converted to the Mormon religion in 1999 from the Roman Catholic Church.  Glenn along with Mitt Romney and every Mormon Priest believe that the Constitution of the United States is as sacred as scripture and the State of Missouri is the place where the Garden of Eden was, where Christ visited after His resurrection and where He will return.

The return of Jesus Christ will take place after the Constitution and government “hangs by a thread” and is saved by the elders of the Mormon Church. Then, the country will become a theocracy and after His temple is built in Missouri, Christ will return to reign for a thousand years.  However, He will let the LDS Prophet and Brethren officiate over his earthly Kingdom of God.

Glenn Beck went to Israel last year.  Why?  The secret is that Glenn Beck is a Jew.  When he was baptized and had hands lain on his head, his “gentile” blood was supernaturally and wholly changed during that process to a pure and unadulterated Jewish blood; he was a Jew of the house of Ephraim!  But this is a lie—for there are no jews of the house of Ephraim, of the House of Israel.  They are never called “jews” in the Bible.  And this transubstantiation of his own blood is as nonsensical as the Roman Catholic’s view of transubstantiation of the blood of Jesus and the Eucharist.

The problem with Glenn Beck is that he is a major spokesman for the “right wing Christianity” even though he is a Mormon.  This is troubling, for David Barton and Jerry Farwell, Jr. (Judeo-Christians) are guests one week, and then a Mormon group the next.  He has done a lot to mainstream Mormonism.  Beck’s humble style may well prepare the way for voters to accept fellow Mormon, Mitt Romney.

Most Mormons have their suspicions that the rise of Supreme Court decisions have seemed to chip away at a strict interpretation of the Constitution. This puts most Mormons on the same page politically as the conservative wing of the Republican Party.  This is different from Kennedy’s being a Roman Catholic in 1960; for Mormonism is different.  Mitt Romney’s roots run deep into the LDS religion.  Like his father, George Romney, who ran unsuccessfully for president in 1968, Mitt is a high priest in the Church priesthood hierarchy.

Mormonism has a somewhat odd and complicated hierarchy for its priesthood.  Unlike virtually every other religion, all adult Mormon males are made into a priest.  Most progress from being put in the Aaronic Priesthood at age 12; to being ordained into the Melchizedek priesthood at age 18.

Romney also served his 30 month missionary journey which is equivalent to a Mormon as a Congressional Medal of Honor winner.  In preparation for his going on his mission, Romney took dire blood oaths to observe certain secret “Laws” unknown to outsiders.  It is these oaths that are a problem for a person who would be President.  One of these oaths is called the “Obedience to the Law of Sacrifice.”  This is one all faithful temple Mormons have sworn:

“As Jesus Christ has laid down his life for the redemption of mankind, so we should covenant to sacrifice all that we possess, even our own lives if necessary, in sustaining and defending the Kingdom of God.”  The Kingdom of God means the LDS Church and the penalty for violating this pledge is “…by placing the thumb under the left ear, the palm of the hand down, and by drawing the thumb quickly across the throat to the right ear, and dropping the hand to the side.”  This is called a penal sign, which means the penalty for violating this oath is the symbolic gesture for slitting your throat; this is identical with the First Degree of Blue Lodge Freemasonry.

Since its first five leaders of the whole Mormon Church of Salt Lake City were Freemasons, its resemblance is perfectly understandable.  And it is not well-known that LDS church leaders are chosen from among hereditary LDS families who are captains of industry and wealthy.  Because of this, the LDS church leadership has demonstrated remarkable skill in building an economic empire out of their small beginnings.

The Mormon Church is probably the richest church, per capita, in the world today.  The Roman Catholic Church is the wealthiest, but they have about 99% more members.  The Mormons have had only 182 years of existence; yet they would be in the top 50 of Fortune’s 500 companies, if they were categorized as a business.  They own television stations, motels, power companies, and thousands of acres of farmland, orchards, etc.  They have a very large farm near Disneyland in Orlando, Florida.  They are doing this, because of their peculiar view of the end time prophesies.

Conclusion

A time would come when the US Constitution would “hang by a thread” and that the elders of the LDS leadership would come in and save the day.  This is coming to pass by the encroachments on civil liberties from the Homeland Security people or from the ACLU who have used the liberal courts to outlaw Christianity from the public areas.  Not many people are aware of the fact that Joseph Smith had himself crowned King over America shortly before he was shot at the Carthage jail.  He established a highly secret “Council of Ytfif.”  Joseph Smith intended to use this group to help him become President of the United States (He did run for president), but his life was put to death before he could become the President.

  1. The second prophecy is the “White Horse Prophecy” of Revelation 6.  A Mormon leader would somehow seize control of the US government to prevent the total abrogation of the Constitution.  He would assume total power and create an LDS “Kingdom in America.”  At the same time, he would use the vast corporate and agricultural holding of the Mormon Church that he would have the power to either feed the world or withhold food from the world.  The implication is that getting food would be dependent on being obedient to the United Order.
  2. Instead of seeing the “man of sin”, most Mormons will believe he will be an Almighty spiritual and political leader who will save the USA from destruction and ultimately bring peace to the world.
  3. On top of this, the temple oaths and obligations Romney has taken make his first allegiance to the LDS “Kingdom of God.”   He also swore as follows:

“You and each of you covenant and promise before God, angels, and these witnesses at this altar, that you do accept that Law of Consecration as contained in Doctrine and Covenants, in that you do consecrate yourselves, your time, talents, and everything with which the Lord has blessed you, or with which he may bless you, to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for the building up of the Kingdom of God on the earth and for the establishment of Zion.”

Whether or not this actually happens is up to our GOD, but a well-trained temple Mormon believe it is literally their manifest destiny to rescue the United States and bring about the Kingdom of God on earth, with their prophet as its head.

  4. Mormons believe that when it is time to “save” the Constitution, a Mormon will be elected President or Vice- President.
  5. Oaths the Mormons take in the temple give their first loyalty to “The Brethren,” not to their country—they have Dual loyalty.
  6. If a Mormon Vice-President is elected, the President will die and the Mormon will become President.
  7. Then he will be declared “prophet” and the “one Mighty and Strong.”
  8. Temple building projects.
  9. He will set up a religious dictatorship based on the LDS church and the United Order—Revelation 6.
  10. The shocking secret of the Washington, D. C. Mormon Temple
    1. Big gorgeous temple:  Silver Springs, MD
    2. Fifth floor:  same as oval room in White House; they have all the radio and telemetry equipment in place, hidden beneath a dome on top of the temple.
    3. Center of roof:  Dome
    4. It is believed by LDSers that in some day the Mormon president will run the nation from this room

The Mormon Church believes that it will rule the world.  Do you want a man in the White House orTemple of the Mormons to rule over you who believe that he will become a god?  From Joseph Smith, Jr. to Mitt Romney; the evil spirits are doing their job well.  And how much of this information will the national, state and local media tell you?  Anything?

But don’t be afraid, for our Savior will not leave us alone—he will save us from this time like it was in days of the Kingdom of Israel.  He will save us from completely destroying ourselves; for He shed his blood on the unconditional, everlasting covenant which He made with our fathers and their seed, which He will faithfully keep forever.

“And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this is among you.”  Deuteronomy 13:10, 11.

Do you think that religion would be an issue in the Media if one who believes like us ran for the Presidency?  Blessed be the LORD God of Israel.
