Scripture Reading: Revelation 5:8-10:
Each of the four beasts and twenty-four elders who fell down before the Lamb had a harp. That would be 28 harps that were played as they sang their new song. In Revelation 14:2 there implies that there were 144,000 harps and in Revelation 15:2 an innumerable number of harps in heaven. If God allows this many harps in heaven then it should not be considered unheavenly to have musical instruments in churches.
This heavenly “choir” sang a new song about their Redeemer; but there is also a “good and evil” part about music. The genealogy of Cain is given in the fourth chapter of Genesis; with Cain, Enoch, Lamech, Jubal; the great-grandson of Cain; who was “the father [inventor and teacher of musical instruments] of all such as handle the harp and organ” (Genesis 4:21).

So, there are two kinds of music: good and evil. Which is which? The first song that we will look at is the song which many people are in favor of making it our new national anthem, replacing “Star Spangled Banner;” which many people feel is hard to sing. The song is “God Bless America.”
It was first sung on November 11, 1938 by Kate Smith. November 11th was the day that World War I ended; and was sung as part of the memory of this day. The song was first written in 1918 but was never used.
As America and the world approached the Second World War, a song was needed to help patriotism in the nation. Many singers looked for a new song. The song that was chosen was not used 20 years earlier but was brought back out of the song writer’s casted away songs; and with a few changed words was revamped. For example, the words “To the right” was changed “Thru the night.”
The song was written by a man who didn’t celebrate Christmas; but wrote “White Christmas.” The man was not a Christian; but an agnostic! He was born in Western Siberia; his name: Israel Baline. Baline was an Ashkenazi jew who changed his name to: Irving Berlin.
Irving Berlin was honored in 1944 by the National Conference of Christians and Jews for “advancing the aims of the conference to eliminate religious and racial conflict.” Sure, Christians eliminate the fact that these people are the ones that help the murderers of Jesus Christ. So, don’t throw them out of your country, disobey your Savior and eliminate the conflict.
Irving Berlin assigned the copyright to the “God Bless America Fund,” which has raised millions of dollars for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

The song doesn’t sound so Godly now, does it? It was written by one of our enemies. It is like the “Battle Hymn of the Republic;” it was written by a person who was under the influence of our enemy.
It is similar to the story in Ezra, chapter 4. When the adversaries of Judah and Benjamin heard that the children of the captivity were in the process of rebuilding the temple of God. They came to the leaders of Israel and told them that they were willing to help them build the Temple. They further told them that they sought their God, as Israel did; and they sacrificed unto Him for a long time. The leaders of Israel replied to them that they were not needed nor wanted. For Israel had nothing to do with them (verses 1-3).
As a result, the adversaries weakened the hand of Israel and hired counsellors against them, to frustrate their purpose. Later, another enemy of Israel asked, “Who hath commanded you to build this house, and to make up this wall?” The enemies of Judah and Benjamin did everything they could to prevent them from rebuilding their Temple and city. So, we are over two thousand years later and would our enemies use music to destroy our civilization and culture?
Pepsi Cola
The Obama Administration has given its blessing to PepsiCo to continue utilizing the services of a company that produces flavor chemicals for the beverage giant using aborted human fetal tissue. LifeSiteNews.com reports that the Obama Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided that PepsiCo's arrangement with San Diego, California based Senomyx, which produces flavor enhancing chemicals for Pepsi using human embryonic kidney tissue, simply constitutes “ordinary business operations.”
The issue began in 2011 when the non-profit group Children of God for Life (CGL) first broke the news about Pepsi’s alliance with Senomyx, which led to massive outcry and a worldwide boycott of Pepsi products. At that time, it was revealed that Pepsi had many other options at its disposal to produce flavor chemicals, which is what its competitors do, but had instead chosen to continue using aborted fetal cells -- or as Senomyx deceptively puts it, “isolated human taste receptors.”
A few months later, Pepsi’s shareholders filed a resolution petitioning the company to “adopt a corporate policy that recognizes human rights and employs ethical standards which do not involve using the remains of aborted human beings in both private and collaborative research and development agreements.” But the Obama Administration shut down this 36-page proposal, deciding instead that Pepsi’s use of aborted babies to flavor its beverage products is just business as usual, and not a significant concern.
“We’re not talking about what kind of pencils PepsiCo wants to use -- we are talking about exploiting the remains of an aborted child for profit,” said Debi Vinnedge, Executive Director of CGL, concerning the SEC decision. “Using human embryonic kidney (HEK-293) to produce flavor enhancers for their beverages is a far cry from routine operations!”
To be clear, the aborted fetal tissue used to make Pepsi's flavor chemicals does not end up in the final product sold to customers, according to its own reports -- it is used, instead, to evaluate how actual human taste receptors respond to these chemical flavorings. But the fact that Pepsi uses them at all when viable, non-human alternatives are available illustrates the company's blatant disregard for ethical and moral concerns in the matter.
Back in January, Oklahoma Senator Ralph Shortey proposed legislation to ban the production of aborted fetal cell-derived flavor chemicals in his home state. If passed, S.B. 1418 would also reportedly ban the sale of any products that contain flavor chemicals derived from human fetal tissue, which includes Pepsi products as well as products produced by Kraft and Nestle. I don’t know if these are enough reasons for people to stop drinking sodas and boycott the products of giant Agribusinesses that have been bringing death and misery all these years to the US population. Keith Hudson, the evangelical minister father of pop star Katy Perry, known for her hit song “I Kissed a Girl,” which she performed at the Super Bowl in Phoenix on Sunday, told reporters prior to her appearance that he was proud of his daughter. This song speaks about experimenting with lesbianism.
“Oh no, I don’t have a problem,” he told the Daily Mail when asked if he had any issue with her scheduled performance at the event. “I’m always proud. I’m a proud father.”
“She’s gonna do some good [songs],” Hudson said. “She’s excited.” But doesn’t this mean that she is going to do some bad songs?

She later announced that she no longer professed to be a Christian.
“I don’t believe in a Heaven or a Hell, or an old man sitting on a throne,” Perry told Marie Claire Magazine in 2013. “I’m not Buddhist, I’m not Hindu, I’m not Christian, but I still feel like I have a deep connection with God.”
Her parents have stated that they do not agree with all the choices that their daughter has made during her career.
“I recognized the psalmist gift in her performance. Yet she sang out, ‘I kissed a girl, and I liked it,’ while thousands joined her,” she wrote. “One part of my heart soared … [but] the other part broke for the thousands of hungry souls being fed something that didn’t nourish their spirit, but fed their flesh.”
Hudson said that he did not like the song because it “promotes homosexuality and its message is shameful and disgusting.”
Keith Hudson, who leads Keith Hudson Ministries alongside his wife, and attends Jentezen Franklin’s Free Chapel in Orange County, California, has been double-minded about the matter.
“I love my daughter and I will always love her. Stop being judgmental and critical,” he said in 2012, choking back tears. “Do not close the doors to your loved ones, especially your children. Just because they do not like what you do or what you are, they are still praying that you stay in the race. They are counting on you.”
“God has given us a platform to go in and meet people—and they like us because we are cool,” Hudson stated. “We are not threatening.”
But in 2013, he reportedly referred to Perry as a “devil child” and requested prayer for his daughter.
“[People] ask: How I can preach if I produce a girl who sang about kissing another girl?” he said during a speaking engagement in Santa Fe, California. “I was at a concert of Katy’s where there were 20,000. I’m watching this generation and they were going at it. It almost looked like church,” Hudson continued. “I stood there and wept and kept on weeping and weeping. They’re loving and worshiping the wrong thing.”
